Affordable and dependable yoga mat for frugal health enthusiasts out there. I was a little skeptical about getting a cheap yoga mat online. As a student I feel the need to save as much as possible. I am glad that I ended up buying this because it is as good as the $15 yoga mat I had before. The only downside is that it's not very thick. I am still able to excercise on my hardwood floors with this mat
Much better than the foam pads sold on Ebay as mattress pad/yoga mat. They tear, this does not.
Oh I really love the color and it's so nice I will use it tonight when Im going to work out
I bought this mat so I could do floor exercises, it seems to work just fine.
The cost was very reasonable and the product has been working amazingly!
This mat is a nice color. The green is vibrant yet not too bright. It is quite thin, but it does state that. I mainly got this to cut down for mats for the kitchen to give some standing relief, having ruined another I had been using. I will possibly use it on the cooking side of the kitchen where I don't stand in one spot for long periods of time. Not sure yet. However, the quality of the mat is very nice, not a strong smell like some of the others, and seems very durable.
These seem to be part of Walmart's self-privilege program of "we'll send whatever color we want". I grimaced when the only color available to choose at the time of my purchase was a vivid yellow, but I needed them for traction and floor cushioning for a mobility-challenged dog prone to slipping and falling. What I received was, instead, five bright aqua mats. Not what I ordered, but not quite as nauseating as the yellow to which I'd resigned myself. That having been said - if the actual color is importnat to you, I'd be pretty cautious about considering or choosing these, at least based on my experience.
I got this mat for just under $4, so I wasn't expecting too much and it lived up to my limited expectations. The mat is thin. I bought it to use on area that had very flat carpetting very flat. It helped to make exercise on the hard surface more comfortable.
My son decided to buy my husband and I an Apple TV and fitness app to help us get in shape so I decided to order some yoga mats. I choose this one because of the price. When I ordered it I saw the 3mm but didn't really process how thin that means the yoga mat is. We have hard wood floors and when I am lying down on this mat on the floor it feels like I am laying on paper. Now it is my fault though because I did not process it. My question is though why make a mat this thin?
Pictures are of 1st and 4th times I used this. I really did not have a high bar for this mat to clear. I just needed one and it was okay that it wasn't overly thick. However, it is not okay that the first time using it, in my living room and wearing regular Asics, it was so damaged. We are talking extremely light wear and tear here people and it failed miserably. I still have to use it and so now I get to sweep up little bits of rubber that come off of it. The whole reason I got rid of my previous mat! Another case of you get what you pay for.
