I use this weight stack every day and I love it. It provides a wide variety of workout options, and it pulls smoothly and is easily adjusted for varying amounts of weight. It looks very nice sitting in my home gym. It was packaged very well, and the assembly was easy but did take some time as there are a ton of pieces. Upon unboxing I realized that that the foam pads were a bit squished and out of shape. I contacted the manufacturer, and they mailed me all new foam pads right away. This type of customer service means a lot to me, and I am now a loyal fan and customer of these CAP products. I would not hesitate to buy this machine again.
The assembly is extremely difficult with unclear instructions but we're not handy at all and we managed after a few days of trying different things. It's not anything special but overall, it's definitely a good buy for the price.
It seems like it's going to be a good machine, however, it was a store delivery that we paid an extra $50 for only to have one corner of the box busted open, one of the weights dented, and we're missing 2 bolts and 2 nuts that we have contacted their customer service about and are waiting for a response. So for now; it's sitting in a partially completed state (we'll say about 98%) and unusable until we get the replacement parts to install the last two pulleys. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the instructions could be better. I've assembled a LOT of things in my adult life and this probably has to be the most irritating thing so far.
The home gym is awesome, it was the directions that were not. Very hard to understand and if you don't have any experience with Pully systems it would be difficult to do. Pictures in diagrams don't do any justice.
I didn't use it as much as I thought I would. it was smaller than expected
It took about 15 hours to assemble spread out in 3 days. Instructions are all images. They could have elaborated with written instructions and a blow-up picture in some difficult parts. If you organize your bolts and nuts on a table with labels, the assembly will be less difficult. The weights are not marked to see how much each plate weighs. It didn't come with a bicep curl bar or an ankle strap. It feels awkward using the lat bar for the bicep curls. Also, when doing the bicep curls the front of the machine goes up. You need to step on the bottom plate called the front treadle to prevent the machine from going up. Then you can't do the exercise properly because the leg extension gets in your way. The press exercise also feels awkward because the right side is farther away from the center the left. Overall, it feels flimsy. The cables are too thin, and the pulleys are made of plastic.
Wrong item was sent!
Cables already ripping
Low quality
The cables kept snapping and popping when my husband went to lift weights around 90. The bracket bent when the cable popped (you can kind of see in photo) . We only used it maybe 3 times before that happened. Also, the instructions are not clear at all so it's not an easy build.
