This is as advertised. Slim, sturdy, lightweight and easy to tuck away when not in use. The top step when opened comes down to rest on a bar. The manufacturer was thoughtful enough to warn about being cautious and don't get pinched fingers while opening or closing. You can push it open with a foot towards the bottom of the stool legs. I don't have inquisitive little ones in my home , if I did I may store it away from little prying eyes. I'm very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

Great handy stable little stool! This is the perfect height for what I need it for. I've used it outside to get my bird feeder and inside on my uneven satillo tile. It's worked great on both. Seems sturdy with no wobbling and folds and opens perfectly.

Very stable. Thin when folded - fits easily into a narrow space. Second step not recommended to anyone with balance issues.

Very lightweight and sturdy stepladder. It can hold a hefty husband without problems. Only minus for me is the non-existence of a grab handlebar. However, we were aware of that beforehand and my husband is very pleased with it.

This is a very sturdy step ladder. It does not slide when standing on it. The top of the top step is 17 inches from the floor. The steps are 8 inches deep and 12 inches wide. This cost more than I wanted to spend but well worth it!

Lightweight, sturdy 2 step stepstool. Easy to pick up with one hand. Easy to fold up and store. Narrower and less chunky than the Rubbermaid stepstool which this replaced.

As a short person I wanted a sturdy stepping stool for my kitchen. This fits the bill, it's well constructed and compacts easily/very sleek. I knew it didn't come with a holding bar but that said, I need more support than I initial thought I would. I just keep it close to counter tops and cabinet doors for additional balance. Even without the bar it is one of the sturdiest stools I've ever used. I love how easy it is to store and use.

The stepladder arrived on time and was very simple,easy to use. Assembled also seeming to be able to deliver as stated. Time will tell.

Our top step bent and we says holdsnover 300lbs not exact if was 320maybe. my husband weighs atound 250. i was not able to pack it and send back but I feel I should get a replacement sent to me to replace the broken one. I printed of a label but could notnsend in with out a box...
