Gets the job done. A lot of height and sturdy. Wish it came with something to stabilize the bed from sliding. Yes, it DOES come with a mini allen tool and a little wrench. I would recommend scissors/box cutter/knife and a rubber mallet to lock the slats in. Or you could be like me and wrap your fist in a towel to punch in the slats. True story. Assembly is easy enough, does what you buy it for.

My 6'5" 300ish lb hubs and myself 6'0" 425ish plus our 4 pups, 90lbs, 60lbs, 50lbs and 35lbs. plus mattress, some bedding and a whole homegoods bin of pillows!! (dont forget the dog toys) and this bed is Firm!! we havent had a bed frame for 7.5 out of the 8 years married. Hubs has built frames when we got a king. our first king came with the xl twin box spring mattresses but they really werent that sturdy. this was on a Christmas December Deal. Bought after 5 pm Thursday night received fedex on Saturday!! (today) feels so much sturdier. hubs and dogs already snoring lol -The Mrs.-

this item works great for small spaces and no t to bad to put together .its heavy but if you take pieces out of box aned carry in if the weather is ok then not to bad. assembly is not to bad. but love the convenience of not having to have a box springs mattress.

This bedframe is exactly what I needed. It was easy to assemble because all pieces are labeled. While it does come with tools to put it together my husband did use his tools instead. if you are looking to store things under the bed like small totes or boxes this is perfect. I will say because it is a metal frame it is not bare foot friendly. And just like every furniture thing I have ever helped put together it did come with extra pieces.

The reviews all said no squeaking and no having to tighten the bed over and over. It is sturdy BUT you will hear tons of squeaking and have to get the tools back out often unless you use locktite or something to keep it from getting loose. the height is great. hate that i spent money thinking it wasnt going to squeak and come loose but here we are.

i like the look, seems solid. However, upon installing the last piece-the middle rod with groves on both sides for the slats, the groves on one side are upside down. So if you put together, mattress falls thru to the floor on that side. see pictures of drawing assembly %26 of my actual bed frame. This has been quite upsetting as i need my bed due to scoliosis, protruding discs %26 fibromyalgia. please, send the right piece ASAP. Thankyou.

It broke a few months after buying. NOT sturdy enough to handle sexy time. THE MIDDLE PART BROKE HALFWAY TO SEXYVILLE SINKING THE ENTIRE BED TO THE MIDDLE. we had to take the frame out and put the mattress on the floor. DIDNT FINISH SEXYTIME BC OF IT!!

For the first two weeks it was fine with no complaints. However as the time progressed the bed frame had a squeaky sound and one of the bars broke off. I'm 250lbs. But the claim on the bed frame says max lb is 2200. How can it be 250 if within a few weeks one of the bars broke and the frame now squeaks? I loved it at first but now there's this annoying squeaking sound everytime I move. I'm afraid another bar with snap.

Fairlh easy assembly, my 11 year old and i put it together. i bought this bed frame with the 2200lb weight limit for our son who is a varsity lineman! Although he is a big guy, he is NO WHERE near 2200 lbs, not even 300lbs. This bed shoud have supported him no problem. It began falling apart the 2nd night. The slats began breaking thru and so we stuck a set of crutches between the mattress and frame to keep the matress from dipping while we figured out what to do. By the 4th night, the legs of the frame were buckeling and bending. it would be a great bed for a toddler but i definitely would not recommend it for an adult. i wouldn't have been upset at all at the quality of it, because it didnt cost much...but it should not be advertised as having a 2000lbs weight limit when it can not support 200.

It claims to support 2200 pounds, but it doesn’t. I suppose I put it together incorrectly. I even had someone else inspect it before I sat on the bed within three days. I sat on my bed and fell to the floor. It was absurd. I don’t recommend this to anyone, especially if you’re overweight.
