Car and Driver - 1080P HD Dash Cam with Wide Angle Lens - Lightweight 0.5 lbs

I was looking for a new dash camera that was simple with no frills. This one fit the bill perfectly. The suction cup mount allows mounting it anywhere.

i only lowered the score for one reason. i kept getting directed to usless sites,as recommended in the manual under warrantee.i finally got connected to someone other than the subscription dept. they said to check the accessorie port. maybe that was the problem. true. a neighbor plugged it into his port and the red light came on. i's a blown fuse. will replace it.

Good picture, easy to mount. Setup is not as easy as with newer electronics. Playback o the unit itself is awkward, but plugging into my computer is easy to show the video.

Simple installation. I have not yet been able to assess all of the features, such as reliability, night vision, and such. The buttons on the bottom tend to be awkward. Installing and removing the card is a bit challenging. Overall, for the value, it seems to be pretty good.

Plugs into a car lighter socket, so you would need to purchase an adapter for USB or other charging options. The camera picture is clear and vivid. It comes with an SD memory card, which I appreciate because I was excited to plug and go. I was able to hide the connecting cables between both cameras into the fabric lining of the ceiling. Very easy to set up

Good unit for the money, however I had to return it because the Motion Sensor when parked didn't work.

Newer vehicles do not have cigarette lighters so the usb cord is not long enough to reach the power outlet. The cigarette lighter cord is long, but useless in newer cars. This is why it is on sale. The usb cord is an old design so finding a replacement that will fit will take a while.

Bought this from a link on Car Driver website that said it includes rear camera. It does not include rear camera. Will probably return this.

This is a flimsy piece of junk. The included memory would not lock into place and repeatedly fell out. Without the memory card, it's unusable. And unfortunately, the (short) 30-day Walmart return window expired a few days before I installed it and discovered the defect, so I'm out the cost of this thing. AVOID!!!

it doesn't stay on long enough to even program the time, and you can't do it while it's plugged in. the buttons are too small, that you bump other buttons while trying to do anything,
