It is comfortable and functions as described. The only issue for me is the arms do not move up and down and can make it uncomfortable to use when sleeping with a pillow or need to move it before you go to sleep, but the size of it makes it difficult to move to another location.

Not at all comfortable. Hard as a rock.
This pillow is not shaped like a wedge. This pillow is not shaped like a wedge. You cant lean back in it unless you slide your body down. Its hard as a rock. I am very disappointed and I am not paying this much money for something uncomfortable that I know I wont use. I will be returning it. The only thing I like is the reading light.

hard as a board
Received this as a Christmas gift, having had a small soft backrest pillow for years, I thought it would be fantastic - but it was so hard and uncomfortable I had to return it.
