This product works perfectly well for my daughter who is in a cast almost to her shoulder. Forms a perfect seal just above her cast. I still won't immerse it in a pool but it works for daily shower or bath. This was also cheaper than most others and shipped for free. Can't complain.
Keeps cast very dry from getting wet while taking my shower I would recommend this for anybody that has a arm cast that even goes up past the Elbow
I bought this for my nine year old that broke his arm at the elbow. The doctors' office offered it for $66 so i looked and found it at Walmart for $11. Yay! I put it on his arm and it kept it dry. I'm so happy to find it.
Good
It's easy to slide over the cast. This product is for my 9 year old daughter and she can put this on and take it off by herself. Great product! Only issue is the sleeve part is a little big for her but works great.
My niece had an armcast that stopped after rounding the elbow. The length of the sleeve was fine. The rubber band that keeps the water out, however, was not tight enough to keep out water. She is slender but not bony. The plastic ring surrounding the seal was 5" maybe 6" in diameter which is awkward and cumbersome. The material was quality and if it were tight enough would probably keep water out. But frankly, using a kitchen trash bag and sealing it and neatening with duct tape is really a better method, in my opinion, if done properly by an adult. The cost is probably about the same depending on the length of time the arm will be in the cast. Happy healing!
