Carex Economy Raised Toilet Seat

ordered a few times, very satisfying

My 87 y.o mom had trouble with the toilet seat being too low. This item makes the toilet a perfect height for her. She no longer needs my assistance with bathroom trips.

I liked this product. Sturdy and easy to take off and put back on, not heavy at all. Cleaning is easy.

Had the exact same thing previously, perhaps of a different brand. Fits well and is the correct height. What else is there - these are simple devices.

The device works as expected however I couldn't find accurate reviews of it so since I'm about 6' tall I ordered the 5.5" height model. The 5.5" model would be more suited to a person taller than me and the 3.5" or 4" model would be better for someone my size. It takes a little getting used to but it works so I may order another one a bit smaller.

Strong and lightweight though the sticky pads could be more sticky and more of them might help keep it somewhat more steady. If your user is unable to balance well or unsteady on their feet it may not be the best option as it does tip fairly easily. For someone with knee pain or not able to push up from a lower seat this is a great help, just know that you need to sit on it straight. Also it is not feasible to use when having a bowel movement as it is difficult to reach that area to clean due to the shape of this seat. Keep a packet of wipes close by to clean seat after each use. Worth the money for me as it is quite portable for use in motels with low toilets.

The height makes it easier to get off the toilet. Drawbacks are that it is not securable so it slips around. Also, there is not a depression in the front so it is harder to reach in to wipe.

very unsatisfied! this is waste of money! don't buy this product. it does not fasten on toilet seat itself and is SAFETY hazard!

I have the highest toilet they make. Bought this item to make it easier for my 81 year old mother to sit on, however, when she sat on it the seat was moving around and she was afraid she was going to fall. Hence we removed and bought a commode which has worked out much better.
