Carl Buddig Beef Lunch Meat has been one of my go-to lunch staples for years. The 2-ounce pouch is the perfect portion — one pouch makes one full sandwich without any waste, which I really appreciate. The beef has a nice savory flavor, and it tastes great whether I'm making a quick cold sandwich or warming it up for something a little more hearty. It's super convenient, budget-friendly, and easy to keep on hand. The small pouches also mean the meat stays fresher compared to larger packs. If you want something simple, tasty, and perfectly portioned, Carl Buddig beef is a reliable choice every time.
We have been buying Buddig lunchmeants for over 22 years and I have never gotten a bad batch. Every flavor tastes good and the price is unbeatable. Being able to buy lunchmeat in smaller amounts is good because these stay fresh longer (being smaller and getting used faster) and because the price is so good you can try all the varieties they offer and not just be stuck with 5 lbs of turkey. If you ever get a hankering for pickle wraps, use Buddig Ham (not the honey ham, the regular kind), smear a small blob of cream cheese on a slice of ham, place a small pickle on top and roll them like a sleeping bag. Enjoy!
i can use this beef for everything. it just tastes so good and i cant have pastrami because of the spices, i prefer the flavor of this beef instead!! i found myself picking for only this in the holiday tray i made. in my photo, pastrami on the bottom(too oily imho) then this lovely beef at the top was mine. also really good in a salad and i adore the thinness and lack of nasty oils. thank you budding!
I have bought these for years for my husbands lunches. One pack makes him 2 sandwiches, you can not beat that value at all. A lot of people are on a very tight budget and these help you stretch your dollars and keep are loved ones from going hungry. I am known myself to just grab a few slices and eat it as is. These are not cheap tasting imo.
Very thin sliced and excellent flavor - makes good sandwiches and also makes a excellent Chaffle put a couple of slices on bottom of mini-waffle maker, sprinkle on a little of your favorite shredded cheese add a raw egg and a little more of your favorite shredded cheese, some salt and pepper and bake about 350F tp 400F for long enough to get egg set to desired doneness. Remove from oven and serve on a sandwich, or eat as a handheld snack. Hint: Also you can mix two or three types of cheeses.
I recently rediscovered this after many years of not having it. In my case it is pure nostalgia. Back in the 1970s when I was in high school I made my own lunch everyday and invariably it was just a package of Buddig meats Between two slices of bread. If I wanted to have a more upscale lunch and had the time I would put some mustard and pickle relish in a baggie so I could add it to my sandwich at lunch. This brings me right back my memories of high school lunch. Absolutely not a gourmet delight What a pleasant reminder of simpler times.
Buddig Beef is becoming a necessity at my house, especially around the Holiday Season. Dips and many recipes call for this beef. Beef Gravy on Toast is an easy lunch. Line a Chicken Casserole pan with the beef to add an extra special flavor everyone will love. Give the dog the vitamin, monthly pill or just as a treat. So easy with this Buddig Beef.
We use this Buddig beef for SOS, or also known as chipped beef gravy on toast. It has good flavor without being over-salty like some brands. We also use this for our cheese ball at Christmas. We combine... 2 (8 ounce packages) Great Value Cream Cheese, softened 2 packages of the Buddig beef, diced in small pieces 2 TBSP of worchestershire sauce 1 bunch of green onions, finely diced. Blend together, shape into a ball, if desired, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve on Great Value butter crackers or cracker of choice.
I actually get this for my dog - she takes several different pills and this Buddig beef has been the one magical thing to “wrap” around her pills. She gets excited about it and eagerly sits and waits for it when I get it out of the fridge, 99%* of the time. Great stuff! *every once in awhile she's just not in the mood to take pills and nothing will work…just gotta wait awhile and try again.
I bought a few packages because the price is right. Turning the package over, I got to reading that the over-processed meat would save me momentarily. Long-term, this will increase my health care costs. This provided for me when I needed it. Tasty and the perfect size. No, it is not a good choice for stable consumption. It is overly processed. I would not recommend this.
