For the rockl bottom price, and for us preferring small portions, Carl Buddig compact size packs of luncheon meats is a years long favorite for me. Being single, I do need family size packs, just enough to make a couple or three sufficient satisfying sandwiches with additional of cheese, greens and other complimentary veggies. For more nutrition, I use multi grain breads. However I know Buddig makes other luncheon meats which I wish Walmart would carry in their stores. No thin sliced luncheon meat will have much taste, regardless of price. Tip: Use ham sliced option in place of prosciutto to wrap around melon slices as a quick snack.

These have always been a go-to for me for decades, with kids, for my husband and myself. These single serving pouches are great way to have a variety of lunchmeat on hand, that stays fresh. The ham is great on sandwiches, chopped up into a salad or omelet. Good choice!

I'm typically not a big fan of honey ham, but I purchased this for my husband's lunch sandwich when the regular ham was not available. He said it was fine, so there you go. One package typically makes only one sandwich, since the slices are very thin. It helps to add someone different to the daily sandwich routine.

Started buying Buddig about a month ago. I wasn't expecting much based on the price, but frankly, it is pretty good. The price is great, and of course, real' deli sliced cooked ham is better, but tried this b/c of price and will stick with it. The meat itself has a good texture, you get 6 thin slices, 3 enough for an adult sandwich with cheese thrown in. Works great for egg sandwiches, which I have been obsessed with lately for no good reason. So, give it a shot, can't go wrong for under 1.00. I did a price compare with these and buying the presliced deli ham in the refrigeration section, and the better value is Buddig.

They make a great sandwich at lunchtime and will the ham flavor I add some Left over sweet potatoes . Dinner time I add apple slices and the cheese and pickles And any leftover sweet potatoes . So one package does 2 meals in a day . Great value and delicious.

Carl Buddig honey ham is pretty good lunch ham. it is just enough for one sandwich when you want a basic ham or ham and cheese sandwich. It is also a good choice along with a pack or two more of one of the other Carl Buddig lunch meats in the individual bag, if you are building a meaty sub.

Sadly Walmart no longer carries all the Buddig 2 oz pack flavors I used to enjoy such as Corned Beef and Pastrami, now only carrying beef, 2 hams, and turkey which to me are all bland and of no particular interest, but I buy them once in a while when I'm in a hurry. The 2 oz size is very helpful and the price is right but sadly now only in bland flavors at Walmart.

This is good when you need lunch meat but can't afford a bigger pack. It's just thin and you might need to use two packets. Maybe better in a tortilla used as a wrap but to thin to try and cook with

Tho I have bought this product many times, this time tho expiration date was still three days away this was absolutely green and white with mold when I opened it a couple days later. I didn't pay any attention when I put stuff away as my order was three hours late, arriving at 8 pm. When I took it out of the refrigerator you could see the mold through the package. I know the shoppers are busy but they need to pay a little closer attention to thinhs.

i ordered 4 packs and only received 2 but was charged for 4. this is an on going complaint as i never get my whole order but get changed for missing items.
