I had a cut in the sidewall of my rear tire so I replaced it with this. It was priced for way less than troy bilt was wanting on their website. If this is the size tire you need, it will work perfectly fine. I got it mounted at Walmart, took it back home and had it on the mower in a few minutes.
I had to replace a 20-year-old tire -same make and model-and I found this at Walmart and ordered it for pickup. The online purchase also prompted me to schedule a time to have it installed--which it should not have done for a lawn tractor tire. When I arrived, they told me that the online install price was higher than the install price for a tractor tire and corrected it. They were very helpful, firendly and on time. If this tire holds up as well as the old one it will probably outlast the riding mower.
The tires are great looking, but haven't tried them out in the lawnmower yet. Will review again once tried
Paid for an installation on my loose rim. My mower tire was unable to be mounted onto my rim. Was charged a mounting fee and thus was unable to be done. How do you go about getting refunded my $18.00 fee. Purchase was made online…
The only problem with this was the way is was shipped. The tire came as is and crushed, bent in. I'm pretty sure it will be alright, but really.
Tire ordered was for a lawn mower tire size 20x8.00x8 The tire received shows to be 20x8.00 x 8, however it is approximately 2 inches thinner than the tires I have an ordered several times that are marked 20x8.00x8 The tire I just received is useless to me.
Isn't it awesome when you want to buy a tire and you're looking and see Walmart offers to install it so you think "Oh that will be easy! They can just install it when I go pick it up! Since you know...they offered to install in when you were looking at it!" BUT then you get to the store and the guy looks at you like you're an idiot because WALMART DOES NOT IN FACT INSTALL THESE TIRES so you bought a tire from a place you WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT IT FROM AND ONLY DID BECAUSE THEY OFFERED TO INSTALL IT ON THE WEBSITE. So now you have a tire no one around you can install and no one has the kit for it seems. Thanks Walmart! 100% in line with all the other crappy service we get from you. Now you get to stand in line for an hour to return it and the last time you did that, the super smart lady at the counter took over an hour to RETURN ONE ITEM YOU HAD. Yay!
Tire was completely flattened. Tire does NOT come with wheel as ALL photos lead you to believe. If you do order this tire know you will need professional installation. I have mounted many lawn mower tires previous but this one was just way too flattened. What the photos show would have been a 10 min job, but it turned into need professional mounting after messing with it for two hours.
Employees in the auto department are very rude tone of voice they use with the customers plus they do not keep the customers informed they say that something will take just a few minutes and I waited an hour and a 1/2 and they didn't even have the courtesy to come and tell me what was going on
The tires arrived so distorted that even the tire shop couldn't get them to inflate without having to add tubes!
