Delicious Carrot Cake Slice With Cream Cheese Icing Carlo's Bakery Carrot Cake Slice is an absolute masterpiece of a dessert. This 6.9 oz individual refrigerated serving brings a premium bakery experience right to your home. The consistency of the sponge is flawless—remarkably soft, moist, and tender. It features a beautifully rich and sweet cream cheese icing layered throughout that pairs perfectly with the cake. Despite the odd mention of a smoky flavor in the system keywords, rest assured it delivers pure, classic vanilla and spice sweet perfection with zero campfire vibes. It is also balanced beautifully so that it is never overly salty, letting the natural flavors shine. I highly recommend picking up a slice whenever you want a truly high quality sweet treat!
A little expensive, but has great taste and texture. A great option for a craving without having to get a whole cake. So big it can be split between two people.
It taste as good as it looks. I got this because I was hungry for something sweet and it was just the right size. You don't have a whole cake round to tempt you.
I've had Many absolutely delicious Carrot cake but I was disappointed in the flavor of the cake itself. Needed more cinnamon flavor to give it more flavor. Won't buy again.
Not a bad treat. I was a little hesitant about trying it when I saw all the terrible reviews. The cake itself was okay. The best way I could describe it is if Hostess made a carrot layer cake, I would expect it to taste just like this. The flavor was pleasant, but it did not have the quality of a bakery store product. But, it is actually mass produced. It won't happen often, but I would buy it again.
Disgusting is a compliment. Nothing fresh tasting about it. The absolute worst carrot cake I've ever tasted. There is NOTHING in the taste that speaks of carrot cake. First taste and aftertaste is awful. Not sure which is worse, the fake frosting or the strange fake cake layers. If I could rate it zero, I would. Why is it still being sold? I would not reccomend unless you really want to waste your money knowing just how bad it is.
That was the worst piece of cake I've ever eaten. I was so disappointed. The cream cheese icing was not cream cheese. The cake had no real flavor. I've had dollar store spice cake with more flavor. Please don't waste your money on these. Maybe the southern people have a different idea about carrot cake than folks from New York.
So disappointed! I had seen this in the store and wanted to give it a try. First of all, tiny for the price of near $4. Then it didn't really taste like carrot cake. Don't buy it.
this piece of cake came smashed and what I could salvage was very dry and crumbly. I've bought this before and it was not like what I received today.
The cake flavor is bland and the texture is dry. But I must say the “cream cheese” frosting is an utter disappointment that tastes like it belongs in a museum. Yikes !! … For the positive spin … this cake experience has inspired me to bake my own scrumptiously moist carrot cake with my homemade creamy cream cheese frosting ;-)
