Saw this cake when I was browsing in the deli should not have purchased it. It is absolutely delicious. Taste is great. The texture of the cake thank goodness I only bought a package with one slice everyone should try this cake. It is absolutely out out of this world, if you love chocolate.

Carlo's bakery chocolate fudge cake slice is very good and I liked it a lot and that was my first time having it and I always wanted to try Carlo's bakery cake slice and I'm a big fan of the cake boss

The cake is good and moist and the icing is really good however…the slices seem to be getting smaller. I know…shrinkflation lol I would've selected a 5 if it wasn't for that. But when you are a household of one and you want a sweet chocolate cake with chocolate icing treat…this is a good choice.

First of all, this is one of the most delicious chocolate cakes I've ever eaten. And I have eaten a lot of chocolate cake. Secondly, it is a touch pricey, but it has a perfect frosting to cake ratio, and if you add some Breyers vanilla bean ice cream to it = heaven. Thirdly, I don't think you should buy it because I want to get it and if they run out, I can't. Kidding!!!

Its ok. Better than WM Bakery Chocolate but i do NOT think its worth $4/slice. The icing is good, which is the only thing that makes it edible. The cake itself is way too bitter to me. If you like bitter dark chocolate in your chocolate cake you'll love it. Otherwise I would strongly caution you against spending $4 for a slice. Personally I wish I hadnt lol The only reasoj I did is because the Carlo's confetti cake is so awesome, but yeah, this is NOT that lol

I am sure a fresh slice from Carlos Bakery would be fabulous, but this “slice” disappoints. Chocolate taste not as deep as appearance promises - texture was off, dry-ish as opposed to moist, soft crumb. Frosting not as flavorful as expected… did not finish it.

I received this cake as a substitute for Pepperidge Farm chocolate cake. It tasted just ok, nothing special at all. My main gripe is that it cost $4.00 for a very small piece of cake. Outrageous price!

This particular batch was not mixed well. When I ate my first bite, it was good. On the second bite, there was something tiny and chewable. On my third bite, I realized it was a lump almost paper like consistency. I have to assume it was the flour that wasn't mixed well in the machine. This particular batch needs to be recalled.
