Carlo's Bakery Red Velvet Cake Slice, 7.0 oz, 1 Count, Refrigerated

I was so happy when Carlos's bakery started making single slices of cake and saw it in the stores. I love the red velvet. That's my favorite. It is fresh every time I buy a slice.

Oh, I've never tasted such good cake and icing! It's simply the best and I will continue to buy it on occasion. The price is high for ME, but well worth it! Thanks Buddy!!! You're the best!

I buy a piece of Carlos cake every week. I end up getting dessert twice, cutting the big piece in half. You know how you just need a little something after dinner, this is perfect! The rainbow. Ale is another favorite! Delicious!

first time buying it the cake was fresh and tasted good to me i was afraid to buy it because seen other's given it one star but tried it myself i like it will buy again

This is a disappointing purchase. I gave the cake 2 stars because it is dense %26 moist like a good cake should be, but it is only sugary tasting. It does not have the flavor of a red velvet cake (no, it's not supposed to just be ‘red' but actually have a cocoa flavor from the Dutch cocoa it I'd made with) nor does the frosting have any cream cheese taste. For a huge name like Carlos you'd expect something of good taste even though it is peaches and sold in supermarkets and not the actual bakery, but this falls way short. Not with buying.

I'm disappointed because I love red velvet cake- but this was odious! It looks so good- but IS NOT! Even the icing isn't good. And even my little dog, who LOVES cake almost as much as I DO wouldn't eat it! Sorry, Carlos (the cook).

I put so much trust in this brand. I mean, who hasn't watched Cake Boss??? Everyone who watches FoodNetwork, knows Buddy. I was HIGHLY disappointed in this cake. I love red velvet (my favorite cake) and I understand not everyone can make this cake. Maybe I'm a bit of a snob. I expected so much more from this cake...It was dense, little to no flavor, and absolutely no WOW factor at all!!! I've had box cake that tastes better!!! I guess I'll stick to what I've been sticking with and having this cake, I'll probably never try any other new brand!!! Do better, Carlos!

These cake slices from Carlo's Bakery are horrible tasting. They look good, and the texture is good, but omg, the taste is so bad. Don't waste your money.

Oscar, the driver openend the cake. I did not eat it; I threw it away. He did the same thing to Oatmeal cookies that I ordered, I never want him to deliver anything else for me!!

I was craving a red velvet cake slice so I wanted to try this one reviews seemed good. It is not. it is not sweet, the frosting doesnt taste anything like cream cheese or sweet. the cake is dry and bitter and my kids and i couldn't decide what it tatsed like. they both said definitely not cake. Waste of money really gross actually.
