does really improve the mood, got it for my mom to help with her mood swings

I bought these to help with sleep and they have been very helpful with reducing stress and sleeping. The tablet is small and has tastes good, no bitterness or odd after taste and it dissolves in a reasonable time. I will buy these again!

This really helps to stabilize my emotions. Recommend this product. The only suggestion is that you have to eat something before taking it. Don't take it when your stomach is empty. You will have the feeling of vomit.

The package arrived in good condition and everything was well packed. Prices seem to have increased a bit lately, which I've noticed. I've just started testing the products, so I'll update my review once I have a clearer opinion on their effectiveness.

I use this because it is chewable so it is fast acting and because I only take 50mg. It is hard to find 50 mg anymore.

It is supposed to be of good quality and price, and frankly speaking I did feel almost immediate effect of improvement in mood and cognition, but I also felt sensitive to it, probably due to the fillers and the taste (though claimed to be natural flavouring). Better absorbed than a classic pill for swallowing and does not lead to diarrhoea like the later.

5-htp is one of the few sleep aids that seems to work consistently. I do like the chewable version, but this one is not that tasty. There's a hint of cherry, but not enough to deal with the slowness of how long it takes to break down. Overall, I prefer Natrol's product in this category.

I like this brand, Carlson, but this 5-HTP gives me an upset stomach. I have tried it many times, with food and without, but it just doesn't feel quite right with my stomach. I originally had high hopes, but it's not giving me anything but side effects.

The texture is odd. You could chew them, but they taste bad despite the raspberry flavor. Since they are labeled as tablets, I don't why they wouldn't make it an easier to swallow tablet. Also, look at the label closely because each tablet is 50mg, 100mg for 2. I don't like when it's labeled that way.
