Extension for Carlson extra wide gate
It took a while to get it...supply issues

New is Better than Original
I like this extension. It appears to be an improved design even to the original gate. This extension has a metal channel at the top in addition to the pin which makes it much more rigid and secure than the pin alone which is what they have on the original gate extension. I got the 4 inch extension to add to the original gate extension. If I had it to do over I would get the 12 inch extension and not use the initial extension. If I did that the entire gate would have been stronger. Just think about it if that would work for you before you decide on the size of your extension.

As described and quick delivery.
Couldn't get any better of quality or service.

You will lose 2 inches when you slide it on so take that into consideration when you measure.

Good purchase
It does the job, however it is a little flimsy.

Doesn't fit
This extension did not fit into the gate it was designed to extend. The gate and extension were two "male" pieces with no point of entry to connect the two.
