Good dose. I use one capsule in the morning and one in the evening routinely. Sometimes I feel that I need more (when I am sick or tired and start to feel something like leg crumps) - in this case I will use also another kind of magnesium. I do feel like it is helping, however next time I will buy Magnesium Glycinate instead. Apparently the Glycinate version absorbs better compared to magnesium oxide. Magnesium oxide is also known to cause diarrhea, which luckily hasn't happened to me despite taking 2x the daily recommended dose, but I have noticed that it does make me gassy.

This seems to really be upsetting my gut. I have chronic constipation, so I was buying this for it effect on the bowel regularity, but it seems to causing distress rather than any regularity I normally take 500mg of oxide, and this is less than that, so I'm confused. And I bought it especially because the ingredients seem great. I'm so sad! And I don't know why it's not working the same. Isn't magnesium oxide always the same?

Have been taking this daily for about the past 3-4 weeks before sleep, only to wake up extra early just to go to the toilet. Full on diarrhoea and stomach pain that lasts about the whole morning to around noon. I'm guessing the Beef Gelatin that is part of the ingredients of the Magnesium capsule, is what is irritable to the stomach. It could be I am just allergic to it. Nonetheless, would not recommend to people with gut issues.
