I LOVE it! I've had it now for several months with active use from my dog, cats, and toddlers, one of which was parkouring off of it, and it's stood up to the stress wonderfully! I can't suggest this enough! The price is great and if you have a larger dog this is perfect!

I bought this for the extended height on dog gates this company offers. Yep, I have a motivated jumper. I was pleasantly impressed by the overall quality and simplicity of assembly it required. I love everything about this gate.

we have 2 dogs, one 60 lbs, the other 25lbs. This gate allows my smaller dog passage to the e other room, keeping the larger one out. Very well made would buy again.

This gate is very durable...enough to withstand both of my dogs! My dogs are 65 lbs. and 40 lbs..they both have jumped up on the gate, but failed to knock it over, and the gate is tall enough so that they can't get over it..I haven't even screwed the braces to the wall yet..I might not have to. This is a great product, and I would recommend it to anyone!!

Great gate! A bit difficult to squeeze it together, but once I got it up and installed, the door works very well. I also added those little wall-saver cups, so it sits very nicely in place and is very secure. I also like the way it opens and closes with one-handed ease. It looks nice and the little cat door can be open or closed, depending on what is needed. MY problem is, the 30-lb puppy can flatten herself like a rodent and squeeze herself through the cat door, which is not what I expected! But I do think it would normally keep out most bigger dogs and will work nicely when she's older. It's a good gate for the money!

This is really nice gate. I use it to keep my 2 Labs out of the kitchen when they're being moochy. The gate goes together easily and looks good installed. Over many years, this is the 4th Carlson gate I've purchased. I also bought wall nanny's from a competing online retailer (amazon).

It is well made and sturdy. Everything lines up really well when opening and closing the gate. It took one person to hold it as I installed it, but the directions were very clear and easy to understand. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is a life saver already. I would have given overall satisfaction 5 stars if the directions for the product were written better and there would have been a way to keep the cat door in a stable open position when using the walk thru adult gate. Otherwise, this product has served its purpose of allowing the cats and my little dog to enter their feeding area while keeping our chow hound lab/pit mix out of their area.

It comes in pieces, you have to assemble it. They actually want you to drill holes in your doorways for every contact point to put little grey plastic cups there. No way that's happening. But before you even get there, you have to attach the long screws that you have to screw in and out to size the gate for each doorway. Only 1 of the 4 screws actually threaded into the frame. I tried switching the others around, different angles to get the screw to start, nothing worked. This is a cheap piece of crap and not worth the time and effort to attempt to get it to work. It's sad, because it's a good height and good bar spacing. The gate swings either way and you have the small pet door if you need it. .

I've put together a lot of cheap furniture that comes with a million pieces and dubious instructions. I am patient and have never given up on an item before. This pet door, however, was the most frustrating assembly I've encountered. For one thing, the instructions are tiny, for elves. The pieces are bulky and not identified (such as part A or Part D x4 etc) Once I got it together and tried to install it in my doorway, again frustration. No matter how I positioned it or readjusted the 4 screws/ brackets, it was not secure. My door is pretty straight, not wonky or anything like that. I just decided to call it quits and return it. A couple of other points - I got this mainly to keep cats contained, but there are large gaps (between the metal) on the sides that my slender kitties could get through. It would've kept my chonker out, which was the main reason I wanted it, but FYI if you're trying to separate skinny cats. Ha. Also, once you put the pin in the door, you have crossed the Rubicon. The instructions tell you this - once in, it cannot be removed manually. I mention this because it won't fit back in the box with this piece assembled, and made the return process for this bulky item annoying. But, Wmart was great with the return at least. Good luck!
