We are very pleased with this gate/wall and the door is very easy to open and close. We like that there are no wider openings and it is a good height.

I adopted a sweet little Lhasa Apso, who has the climbing and jumping skills of a cat! He easily defeated other baby gates I'd purchased, and left little "gifts" all over my house when I went out!! This product was exactly what i needed. I bought the wall mounting hardware from another site and now one end is attached to the wall in the kitchen, and the enclosure stays folded up nicely. When I need to go out, it easily unfolds and I attach it to hardware 5' over, giving me even greater enclosure space. When you take this out of the box, don't unfold it right away. Turn the nuts on the top of the intersecting panels to the left, or counter clock-wise. This opens the connection and you can position the panels as you choose before locking them into place. This is a 10 out of 5 in my book!! Nothing for my little circus dog to climb and too tall for him to jump over.

I have the Carlton extra wide pet gate with little door for my cat to enter her "room" which has food, litter box, etc. So familiar with mfg. I recently brought home a 11 week mini Australian Sheppard puppy (who can fit through the cat door at least for the next month or two). After looking at Carlton's other options that go up to about 72," this seemed the best since for price and versatility. I broke it up in to two pieces; one four panel piece that is stretched out in a half circle which includes the gate panel to block off a wide hallway from great room to dining and living room. Then I use the other two panels (shaped in V) to block off a smaller hallway. Keeps the dog out but the cat can get through V barrier (fine with me) since gate panel is a bit wider as bar not inserted which would be used for suggested shape. Product provides lots of configuration options and look nice. The only change I made was to put felt pads on the bottom of all the round feet and then used rectangular felt strips on some of the bottom rails. This way I just slide them out of the way when I need to walk through without damaging the wood floor. Walmart has the best price at $125 with everyone else $169. However, it's still expensive "enough" otherwise I would order another. Only complaint is the instruction book - parts listed don't match up with what is in the box (more actually) and there is no examples of other configurations. Also, no warning about turning the knobs wrong or too tight - learned that from a reviewer at another online store's site.

This kennel/play yard is ideal for the small dog. They can jump on it, but can't climb or move it. I did have a problem the first time that I used it. I put the pup in the kennel and left the room. All of a sudden he was at my feet. I put him back in it and in a flash he was out of it again. The problem was that 2 of the sides had not been inserted all the way in and and this gave him just enough space to get out. A few taps with a rubber malet and the problem was solved. He hasn't gotten out of it since This spacing even shows on the box, so be sure to check yours before using it. This is well made & sturdy. Well worth the money.

Used to make a safe area for our dear dog Gracie. Allowed her to be with us while recovering from her surgery. Loved the gate.

Easy to assemble. Really nice. Sturdy and secure for your pet. my pet is a gate climber, so this was perfect. Highly recommend.

Good sturdy gate to separate my cat's when eating. Works well.

I am happy with this product it met my expectations. However. Looking at the web page for this item I assumed that the gate would arrive with the mounting hardware.Your page states "When used as a gate, simply mount it to the wall; easy to install, easy to remove. When using as a gate, each wall bracket adds 3 inches to width" It does not mention that I need to order the wall brackets separately and at an additional cost.
