Customer Insights: Rated 4.89/5 from 19 reviews.
Worked perfect. Put them on an older dixon 5601 zero turn mower. New valve stems and filled them with fluid. They held 5.5 gallons of winter washer fluid. Got it on sale for a dollar a gallon at walmart. It feels so much more planted. I was so leery of bar style tires for years of them tearing up grass. After reading countless reviews on them and everyone talking of how they loved them over the turf saver tires. I've got a ditch bank I've been stuck in a couple times its steep and I cant mow it up and down have to mow side to side. One section it's always a controlled slide. It's more then I want to weed eat. I mowed mine and my parents mower was down so I mowed their place she has a mower about the size of mine with the hi run bar tires and I could see where theirs has slipped in the past, mostly from mowing just wide open, and was impressed I didnt have any trouble slipping. They have some steep and long inclines in their yard. I mowed them side to side up and down. The coming down on some of it I was nervous took it slow and never lost traction. My Dad was surprised. When I would forget to make a y turn instead of just spinning around it would only tear a spot as big as 2 fingers vs the old tires where it would leave a patch as wide as the tire and 6 in long. Personally I cant recommend them enough. I would buy again in a heart beat. I would highly recommend paying the 15 dollars to have the tire shop put them on! I spent 3 hours and several busted knuckles. Tires didn't show up all deformed that helped seating the bead. They are very stout tires, compared to the flimsy turf tires. To me the ride is more planted and less bouncy. I filled the tires about 3/4 full and then about 15 lb of air. I wish I would have ditched the old turf savers along time ago. I waited till they were wore out, cracking and hard. I will be putting these on any future mower. These were about an inch taller then my 20×10-8 turf tires. I had no fitment issues. They are close to the deck but not rubbing. Something to keep in mind.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent tire for inclines, great grip and does not damage my yard. Exactly what I was expecting at a great price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put on my zero turn mower and love that it doesn't tear up sod like the turf tires did.
I am pleased with the tires I have purchased. They fit my application and arrived in two days of my order.
Great tires. As advertised. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Fit my grasshopper just fine
Great prices
I needed new mower tires for my Grasshopper model 725. These tires were easy to mount but I couldn't inflate. The bead of the tire was too far away from the rim. This is normal with mower tires. I have then taken the tires to local small tire shop. They got the equipment to inflate these type of tires. A tank with a 2" nozzle that blasted air in at the bead & rim. The tires look good on my mower and traction is great. Walmart price beat all other suppliers by more that $40 per tire for the same brand and size. These tires were shipped to Walmart within under 48 hours.
Bought these tires for my 2019 SCAG Liberty Z 48” zero turn mower. I live on a fairly step hill and the standard turf tires would slip regularly. These AT101 make my zero turn feel like it has four wheel drive on the hills. The difference is incredible! These 21x11x8 tires fit just fine as a replacement on the stock rim (original turf tire is 20x10x8). Walmart mounted them for free in-store same day! Yes, they will tear up the grass if you don't keep both wheels moving in a turn as you'd expect — but they seem to tear up the yard less overall than my turf tires because I'm not constantly sliding around. Also much safer!!! I'm going to upload a video to youtube showing the difference. Search jvonengeln Craftsman YT4000 Vs Scag Liberty Z
A good value tire for the larger commercial lawn mowers. Running 5 to 7 lbs. of air they are the main suspension component on these mowers. These tires wear well and provide a relatively smooth ride plus give good traction when mowing roadside ditches. Walmart policy will only allow these tires shipped to a Walmart equipped for tire service . . . but I haven't discovered a Walmart with tire service that has the necessary tire machine to actually install these mower tires on customer wheels! For that you're on your own. Dan in Denver
