i HAVE A 1996 CUB CADET GARDEN TRACTOR FOR MY LAWNMOWER AND YARD HAULING. BECAUSE THERE IS MANY BUSHES/TREES IN MY YARD, I BATTLE WITH FALLING BRANCHES WITH THORNS. THESE LITTLE GUYS LIKE TO DEFLATE MY FRONT TIRES. I AM PREPARING FOR ANOTHER TIRE CASUALTY AND PURCHASED THIS TIRE AS A SPARE. LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE TIRES ON MY TRACTOR NOW.
The Carlisle Turfsaver tires were just as I expected/hoped for. I had them installed on my 2001 Cub Cadet 2186 lawn tractor with no issues. I will say though, it is a little harder to steer (turn) my mower now that the front tires have tread...….the old ones were so thin they would not hold air pressure. I will likely buy again; same brand of tire from Walmart.
Front tire on my lawn tractor wouldn't hold air. I searched online and found several websites that sold this brand and size, as well as similar othet brands. Walmart was the lowest price I could find, which beat many other sitests by a few dollars. The old tire was harder to remove than it was to put this one on. It went on as easier than expected. Got the bead set, and it aired right up. Tire arrived at store (did ship-to-store for free) in normal fashion, not bent up, or disfigured. I read other competitor website reviews where the customer received the tire bent, or disfigured, making it hard to get the bead to set and air up. My other front tire is looking sketchy, so, I'll definitely buy from here again in the near future.
Tires quality seems to be as good as my original Carlisle tire on my Wheelhorse tractor. Pickup was easy and having it mounted at the Walmart tire center was easy.
Great tire and much cheaper price than Lowes or any other place I checked. No other places had the Carlisle tire that matched the original equipment on my mower. The other tires were 3 or 4 times more expensive too.
When tires are first delivered they look like they might have fallen out of the delivery truck and then been run over by an 18 wheeler. Very misshaped, not really resembling what a tire should look like. But if you leave them out in the sun or in front of a warm fire for a while they do start to straighten out. Once installed they do look like a tire again and so far are working well.
Tire was exact match of original equipment time that was weather cracked and would not hold air. Ordered it from Walmart and it arrived very quickly. I like to order and pick up in store. I try to buy as must stuff as I can from Walmart, fast delivery and great prices.
Walmart was the only place to find this particular tire not already mounted. It arrived smashed to the point I could not mount it myself. I had to pay to get it mounted.
I order this tire online, via Wal-Mart. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Good price, fast delivery to my neighborhood store, etc. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it looked like it had been stored under 1,000 lbs of something extremely heavy. I was squashed. I had doubts, but I took it to Discount Tire to be mounted on my lawnmower rim, thinking if anyone can make this work, it would be them. They tried and tried, and tried, with no success. I returned said tire, and purchased from another Vendor, with no issues at all.
i tried to cancle order buegore they shipped. was on the phone for over an hour with Pakistan had 3 different supervisors. what a joke!! could not cancle the order. then they came 3 days late. they show rims NO RIMS just tires. was charge $9 more then listed on site. save your time and money buy from store directly. would not recommend this
