i HAVE A 1996 CUB CADET GARDEN TRACTOR FOR MY LAWNMOWER AND YARD HAULING. BECAUSE THERE IS MANY BUSHES/TREES IN MY YARD, I BATTLE WITH FALLING BRANCHES WITH THORNS. THESE LITTLE GUYS LIKE TO DEFLATE MY FRONT TIRES. I AM PREPARING FOR ANOTHER TIRE CASUALTY AND PURCHASED THIS TIRE AS A SPARE. LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE TIRES ON MY TRACTOR NOW.
Tires are great not enough info in the description to let me know it didn't come on the rim and Walmart won't mount them for you. So I had to spend elsewhere to have them mounted.
Will be using this tire on my Kanga mini skid loader for landscaping. 8 ply 1170 lb load rating should do the job. Rounded corners should be gentle on the lawn. The side walls are amazingly stiff.
Lawnmower tires just cost TOO much! I used to be able to buy car tires at these prices. Walmart was lower than the average. Tires were shipped fast, and as expected.
The Carlisle Turfsaver tires were just as I expected/hoped for. I had them installed on my 2001 Cub Cadet 2186 lawn tractor with no issues. I will say though, it is a little harder to steer (turn) my mower now that the front tires have tread...….the old ones were so thin they would not hold air pressure. I will likely buy again; same brand of tire from Walmart.
I ordered this for my Dad, he picked it out. Tire was about 3 days later than what was told when purchased. When received tire had been crushed/smashed and so my Dad had to man-handle and work the tire over to get it to the correct shape. My Dad thought that when sent over on the ship that it had been packed over-tight so as to get the most in as possible:(
A Carlisle tractor tire should have been a great choice, original equipment, exact fit. However, the tires Walmart provided were deformed, as if crushed under a heavy object for awhile. Though the bead was intact, after rim mounting, it could not be inflated. I finally used inner tubes, the first one rupturing while expanding to push the bead out.
We scheduled our date to bring the tires in at the Walmart closeest to us and Walmart cancelled the day of the the appointment because that location doesn't do that service. Not happy with Walmart's online purchase sequence that allows this error and also upset that the local store did not help us pivot to a location that could successfully complete the purchase and install.
i tried to cancle order buegore they shipped. was on the phone for over an hour with Pakistan had 3 different supervisors. what a joke!! could not cancle the order. then they came 3 days late. they show rims NO RIMS just tires. was charge $9 more then listed on site. save your time and money buy from store directly. would not recommend this
Carlstar is the same as Carlisle. These are the rear tires for a John Deere L100. The image shows the defect, ie. the concave is much worse than shown. This tire is so concave that creating a seal is impossible, I have had two professional tire installation companies attempt. I am trying to heat and re-curve the tire to create a seal to inflate. This tire should NEVER have left the factory! Extremely poor engineering and or quality control. DO NOT BUY THIS TIRE!
