This is the best tasting breakfast replacement I have tasted. Perfect amount of sugar has vitamins that really help you feel better. I would recommend this if you are having problems with no appetite like some of us seniors get. This helps restore that empty stomach feeling. And really gives you some energy. I have been drinking these to ensure I get all my vitamins %26 minerals while I’m going thru my chemotherapy. It really helps on days that my appetite is vain. I sometimes use it as a substitute for milk in my smoothies. Taste is great. I keep frozen strawberries in the freezer when I want the flavor to burst in my mouth.

My two sons have enjoyed Carnation Breakfast Essentials for at least 15 years. I've recently started drinking one a day and they're pretty great. I do wish they had a little less sugar but I prefer it over artificial sweetener. I cannot stand the aftertaste of artificial sweetener. They're not gritty at all either. Perfectly smooth like chocolate milk.

I am so extremely greatful for this!! i have an appetite issue. i cant get hungry the last 2 years. i was buying the nutritional drinks in the pharmacy section for over a year, until I realized the breakfast ones not only was bigger and cheaper but had more of the nutrients! im fulfilled and its delicious!!! helps my digestive health too.

i love the flavor of these. its helped me during times that i cant eat at all. its fulfilling and helps replaced the nutrients im lacking from not appetite. I have found i prefer the high protein option due to its thickness. so if you like thicker ones get high protein of not get this classic delicious one. this stuff is great for people who cant eat due to teeth decay, or people struggling with getting hungry. the price is amazing your paying about a 1. 25 per bottles

My husband gets up at “nautical dawn”.. and he forgets to eat… He is 77.. becoming frail…He has a risk…of breaking bones if he falls…We have tried other over the counter supplements and this is the one he “likes” to drink… He drinks these twice a day…

This quick meal replacement (even if it is only breakfast/snack) is helping me with extreme weight loss due to a horrid MS relapse. Those who understand know that appetite and thirst can be neurological-based issues difficult to rectify. Smaller but more frequent meals (and physical therapy) are necessary and these are my decades-long go to as they are delivered, ready to drink, and without reason not to be attentive to one's nutritional intake. Optimal health is everything and a lifelong challenge for me. This supplement (I always choose the higher protein option) is in addition to the vitamin supplements and electrolytes/water also necessary to sustain life. Thank you Carnation for making the ready-made option (I don't do well with mixing powders) which is creamy, tasty, and too quick and easy to pass up.

these are so good. i have 2 toddlers and health issues myself and i don't ever get to eat like i should, i never get to eat breakfast. so grabbing one of these when i first wake up helps me feel better and get a little more energy for the kids until i can get a meal made. i love them too, they taste so much better than any other nutrition drink I've tried and I've tried all of them.

it's not as gross as so many of the "nutrition drinks" out there, but it's not "Ka'Chava" that's for sure. the strawberry flavor is the most palatable to me, but to each their own. they should update with the times to include an organic, non GMO version, and perhaps some better flavors. it's not cheap, so it would behoove them to take a good look at some of the other items offered in their own competition and maybe update a little. overall if you just need something to toss your kid on the way running out the door on a day that "breakfast" didn't quite make the schedule, I suppose you could do worse- but I think that it needs an updated flavor profile, less "processed junk", throw in some super foods, some antioxidants, maybe some "beet root powder/juice", some adaptogens and or nootropics, have some drinks for specific" needs"(i.e.-weight loss, post menopausal women, healthy aging, natural energy, beauty enhancement,etc.) and you can likely reclaim the market. but hey, what do I know, I only AM a big segment of the market.
