Drink this every morning. Haven't been able to take my vitamins and minerals for the past 2 months. So I started drinking this for the last of my vitamin intake. I whip it in the blender and sometimes add couple slices of banana. YUMMO. I only wish they could lower the carbs. Is very filling also with just the right about of protein .If they could do that I'd drink it twice a day .

There's days where I have to force myself to eat a little something for breakfast, and these don't make it feel so forced. I remember my Mom getting these when I was younger and now I'm buying them for my teen. They're really good and I'm glad they're still a thing after all these years.

This stuff has been around for more than 50 years, originally under the name "Carnation Instant Breakfast." I used to drink it as a teenager, later as a young adult before heading to work. It makes a pretty good quick breakfast if you're pressed for time, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for an ongoing daily meal. The "milk chocolate" version still has the same tasty, creamy flavor - the big difference is that it now costs about 500% more than it did when it first hit the store shelves all those decades ago.

this tastes pretty close to the original Carnation Instant Breakfast that I grew up loving as a kid. I don't know why they ever changed the name. They didn't need to. The taste is slightly different than I remember but it's still pretty darn good. Then again, I'm old now, LOL

For several years I've used Breakfast Essentials as the base for making my own Protein shakes by mixing it with a pouch of Swiss Miss Cocoa Mix [for extra flavor] and a Chocolate Protein Powder [to boost Protein content], all three mixed mixed with 12oz of water. The result is a thick, creamy and tasty drink packed with 600 calories, 45 grams of Protein plus the 23 vitamins/minerals that Breakfast Essentials contains, and that costs less per serving than other prepackeged shakes. A GREAT way to start the day or as a quick meal subsitute anytime!

Delicious and satisfying whether 😋 using as a meal or snack or a pick me up. the Chocolate flavor is great and the nutrients are very helpful for seniors and those of us who need a little extra nutrition to help our bodies with a extra boost. Mixes pretty easily especially if you use a whisk or a few spins in a food processor. I've drank it for years and I never tire of the flavor. Excellent quality and flavor. Highly recommend.

The search feature on Walmart. com needs to be overhauled. I can't search for anything without great difficulty. I had to enter a new time slot due to not being able to search and find items I wanted. My device starts going wild, the screen jumping and I can't do anything but back out of it. I finally opened a new tab and searched for it with my search engine. I found it then, but I was warned to make sure it was available as it was showing that the item was in another city from mine. I added it to my cart along with some other items that I had trouble locating. Please, please do something about the search feature on Walmart.com -- it requires a lot of time to find anything that I haven't previously ordered as the search feature DOES NOT WORK. I have been drinking it for years. Although I had bought some at the Russell Pkwy neighborhood store in the past, it was not showing up in my history. I don't know why because I bought multiple boxes of it. I hope that it will show up in my history now as I do miss not having it available. It is a great liquid breakfast full of proteins, vitamins and minerals and especially helpful when you don't feel up to making a big breakfast. I have a lot of days like that. Please continue to carry this product. I'm about to have one now, for a snack before bedtime. I love it and the Classic French Vanilla Breakfast Shake is the only flavor I like. This is a great and easy to make as a skipped meal replacement. Or great as an after workout replenishment. High protein and not sure if it is Atkins approved or if they even have caramel, mocha available. Strawberry, vanilla and chocolate are the flavors that we have tried and they are very tasty. Shelf life is also a good quality. Only recommend that you mix it good or stir it a lot. Packs are very much like protein powder to dissolve everything well enough before drinking.

Love this. Easy fix and taste great for breakfast or snack. I use 2% milk and its yummy. Saved a lot from buying other fancy protein drinks. No stomach problems either like fancy named protein drinks can cause. I am a senior and positive for savings and taste.

The actual protein in the product is about 5g, not the 13g that is marked in bold letters on the front of the package. The 13g counts the protein in the milk that you are expected to mix this with. I am lactose intolerant but can sometimes have small amounts, and I am struggling with protein, so I took the chance on this mix to add protein. The problem? If you don't add it to the cow milk, you don't get the sweetener that is required for the flavor of the product, so it was just like drinking a cup of wet cement. It had no flavor and did not even mix well. I was still not upset, because at least I was getting 13g of protein -- except I wasn't. I was getting five, because I used oat milk, and they were giving themselves credit for milk that is not in the box. This is a lie made for people who struggle with budget and nutrition. You should not be able to include nutrition that is not in your product, just because you told the customer to mix it with something that would have the nutrients. This is like making a high protein meal and saying, "It's high protein if you add high protein meat to our meal!". It's fraud.
