Drink this every morning. Haven't been able to take my vitamins and minerals for the past 2 months. So I started drinking this for the last of my vitamin intake. I whip it in the blender and sometimes add couple slices of banana. YUMMO. I only wish they could lower the carbs. Is very filling also with just the right about of protein .If they could do that I'd drink it twice a day .

I got this box of carnation instant breakfast for days my life is crazy, or as a backup alternative to my protein shake if I run out of powder, etc. the taste is surprisingly very good! It's not as thick or has quite the macros my protein shake does, but it's so easy to throw a packet or two into my bag and run out the door. Silly me, I didn't know the recommendation was to mix with milk- so I used water and it was a thinner but still a great flavor! And as usual walmart delivered it next day to me for the best price. Your little ones would love this, too! So easy and delish.

I have been using Carnation instant breakfast for decades. I highly recommend keeping it in your house. It's great for when you're in a rush. It's also great for when you don't feel well and aren't up to eating. This way you get your nutrition, vitamins and some energy.

I sometimes use the carnation instant breakfast as a meal replacement if I'm not real hungry, but need to have something to eat. I was surprised at how good this tastes. I mix it up at night and put in the fridge overnight. I pack it in my lunch bag and its perfect whether I drink it at 8 AM or noon. I mix it in 16 ounces of milk which is twice the recommended amount, and it still has a nice flavor.

My Grandmother use to give me a glass as a kid! .. Loved it Then and Now! .. Taste is a really good chocolate flavor! To me it is more of a real cocoa flavor. Not a sweet, sweet tasting chocolate beverage, which is not what I want! .. I have become sensitive to milk so I mixed in ice water and tried. It is "Awesome"! .. I think this can be mixed with whatever you think might taste good to you. .. All the bottled/canned nutrition drinks have become too expensive. I am so happy that I remembered these from my childhood and tried them again. .. Still just as good, give me a boost nutritionally and a boost in savings😁! ..

This stuff has been around for more than 50 years, originally under the name "Carnation Instant Breakfast." I used to drink it as a teenager, later as a young adult before heading to work. It makes a pretty good quick breakfast if you're pressed for time, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for an ongoing daily meal. The "milk chocolate" version still has the same tasty, creamy flavor - the big difference is that it now costs about 500% more than it did when it first hit the store shelves all those decades ago.

I have a hard time finding a protein drink that doesn't have an aftertaste of protein. There are two brand names that I shop for but they're not always available for delivery. Carnation instant breakfast doesn't have an aftertaste plus it has a lot of supplements.

I buy these for my son to have with his breakfast in the morning to help increase his protein intake since he is a growing boy and an athlete. The shake has a good flavor and texture to it, chocolate being his favorite. He also prefers to mix the shakes with milk instead of water for better consistency and flavor.

The actual protein in the product is about 5g, not the 13g that is marked in bold letters on the front of the package. The 13g counts the protein in the milk that you are expected to mix this with. I am lactose intolerant but can sometimes have small amounts, and I am struggling with protein, so I took the chance on this mix to add protein. The problem? If you don't add it to the cow milk, you don't get the sweetener that is required for the flavor of the product, so it was just like drinking a cup of wet cement. It had no flavor and did not even mix well. I was still not upset, because at least I was getting 13g of protein -- except I wasn't. I was getting five, because I used oat milk, and they were giving themselves credit for milk that is not in the box. This is a lie made for people who struggle with budget and nutrition. You should not be able to include nutrition that is not in your product, just because you told the customer to mix it with something that would have the nutrients. This is like making a high protein meal and saying, "It's high protein if you add high protein meat to our meal!". It's fraud.
