Drink this every morning. Haven't been able to take my vitamins and minerals for the past 2 months. So I started drinking this for the last of my vitamin intake. I whip it in the blender and sometimes add couple slices of banana. YUMMO. I only wish they could lower the carbs. Is very filling also with just the right about of protein .If they could do that I'd drink it twice a day .

I bought this for my brother after he had all new teeth replacement. Chewing is impossible %26 restricted after surgery, but you need to maintain protein intake. A dietician once told me this drink is the same nutritionally as the more expensive ones like ensure. He drank them with milk %26 mixed with instant pudding for that protein boost. He's eating now, but still drinks these. Powder dissolves easily %26 completely.

...you can love this protein shake mix even though it's mostly marketed for kids. -It mixes easy (although I use a small froth stirring blender to make sure there are no clumps). -It tastes great - no complaints from this corner! -Kids or adults, it has 13 grams of high protein and a ton of vitamin and stuff that's good for anyone. It helps to get my day off to a great start. I can't stand eating first thing in the morning. So this doesn't leave me feeling bloated and just "ugh!" if that makes sense. Plus, I don't want to stand there and get out a blender and make a fancy smoothie or protein shake with kale and berries (etc.), make a mess and take up too much time. -This only takes a minute and the only cleanup is the glass when I'm done. - Lastly, I've tried the chocolate and french vanilla flavors and they are both good. There's also a strawberry, which I am sure it's good but I just love chocolate and vanilla! I do recommend this and don't let the fact that their main audience for this is to get kids to drink it in the morning. I give it 2 thumbs up, but then again, this is all just my 2 cents. :)

I am unable to eat normal food due to dental problems and chronic nausea. I have literally existed on Boost and protein shakes. I decided to try mixing a pack the Carnation Breakfast with a bottle of Boost and am loving it. I also found it comes in a high protein, 18 grams of protein. The combination of these 18 grams, along with the 20 grams in the Boost, gives me 38 grams of protein. I increased from 97 lbs to 118.6 lbs and couldn't be happier. I had heard the mix comes in flavors other than vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, but I didn't see those options. Since both the mix and the Boost are sweet, it would be nice to have a decaffeinated coffee flavor.

I first started drinking this in the 1960s when it first came out. Can you believe it. I just started again because I'm going through chemo treatments and I don't really like the nutritional drinks like boost or equates version. C Carnation energy drink is the best! it's delicious and it gives me all the vitamins I need. sometimes I'll even drink two in a day.

this tastes pretty close to the original Carnation Instant Breakfast that I grew up loving as a kid. I don't know why they ever changed the name. They didn't need to. The taste is slightly different than I remember but it's still pretty darn good. Then again, I'm old now, LOL

I use this every day but my local Walmart only had it in stock in the bottles which I don't like! Tried ordering it online from Walmart but they sent the wrong one! I needed the high protein one. So this Walmart had it in stock. So pleased to find it.

Delicious and satisfying whether 😋 using as a meal or snack or a pick me up. the Chocolate flavor is great and the nutrients are very helpful for seniors and those of us who need a little extra nutrition to help our bodies with a extra boost. Mixes pretty easily especially if you use a whisk or a few spins in a food processor. I've drank it for years and I never tire of the flavor. Excellent quality and flavor. Highly recommend.

I buy these for my son to have with his breakfast in the morning to help increase his protein intake since he is a growing boy and an athlete. The shake has a good flavor and texture to it, chocolate being his favorite. He also prefers to mix the shakes with milk instead of water for better consistency and flavor.

The actual protein in the product is about 5g, not the 13g that is marked in bold letters on the front of the package. The 13g counts the protein in the milk that you are expected to mix this with. I am lactose intolerant but can sometimes have small amounts, and I am struggling with protein, so I took the chance on this mix to add protein. The problem? If you don't add it to the cow milk, you don't get the sweetener that is required for the flavor of the product, so it was just like drinking a cup of wet cement. It had no flavor and did not even mix well. I was still not upset, because at least I was getting 13g of protein -- except I wasn't. I was getting five, because I used oat milk, and they were giving themselves credit for milk that is not in the box. This is a lie made for people who struggle with budget and nutrition. You should not be able to include nutrition that is not in your product, just because you told the customer to mix it with something that would have the nutrients. This is like making a high protein meal and saying, "It's high protein if you add high protein meat to our meal!". It's fraud.
