Difficult to use and frustrating
The red (phosphate) and white (sugar) beads would not pop together. When we finally got the beads to fit together, the bases would usually fall off. The kids were frustrated and everyone was complaining their fingers hurt from trying to make it work. The students were so focused on trying to get the beads to work the way they should, they totally missed the meaning of the lesson.
