Kinda of good
The bench is great, with an exception. I had to get a replacement seat, holes didn't line up. When I received the new seat the finish was really rough on the bottom, and not so smooth on the top. I just just put it together and will live with it, but disappointed.

Bad experience. What a hassle.
I received the wrong color. Seller will not exchange it for the correct color I ordered. Seller said they would send a return shipping slip, but it has not arrived. I bought this item at a sale price and now if I want the correct one, I have to reorder and pay the full price. Very poor business practice.

Directions are inaccurate
The directions are completely inaccurate and common sense had to be used to put the bench together. The hardware came rusty and I had to buy new screws, washers, etc. from Home Depot to put the bench together. If I didn't really want it, I would've sent the whole thing back.

Beautiful sturdy chair - great value!
This is a very sturdy chair which I had found on other sites (exact same one) for nearly double the amount! Great buy and value! It adds great charm to my farm house style home and I love it already! It was not difficult for me to put together, either.

Please with purchase
We love how sturdy this bench is. My husband assembled it and we were missing one screw but we were able to find a replacement.

about what I expected
After reading all the reviews, I bought this with my eyes wide open. My husband is a contractor so there wasn't too much difficulty in assembly. The base of the seat was not perfect but it wouldn't stay that way anyway in my foyer so I accepted the flaws. It does look nice and will serve our purposes just fine
