I use the product on my natural hair to set my twist outs. It leaves the hair soft and moisturized for days...I am pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of the product.
Very good hold and adds shine to my daughters 4c and 3c hair! Makes hair look freshly done even days after applying. Leaves no flakes! You will not be disappointed!
The smooth and Shape balm is very versatile. great smell it's a light product not heavy or super oily It's great for doing twist or smoothing hair for a low bun or any soft style it's also great for a dry sponge roller set.
The product performs as described and it is luxurious.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This balm smells soo good and does its job and does it well. It's so smooth (just like butter). Edges are laid and it holds the entire day. The packaging is beautiful and it's very affordable m. I love Carols daughter.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Carol's Daughter Smooth & Shape Balm for a few weeks now and I love it! It helps me tame my frizzy and unruly hair without making it greasy or heavy. It also smells amazing, like ginger and black cumin. It's perfect for smoothing my edges and creating sleek styles. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to achieve a natural matte finish and lasting hold.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i LOVE this balm so much- it holds my hair in place without getting white and flaky, and has a matte finish which might be my favorite thing about it. it smells great, has a strong hold while keeping your hair looking sleek yet clean 10/10
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dry 4b/4c hair, and this balm is amazing. It moisturized my hair while also slicking down my hair into a bun and not reverting back to curls in 10 minutes! I set my hair with my scarf for 20 minutes and it stayed put all day without it being hard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is perfect for those unruly strands, fly aways. It's not going to weigh down your hair, moisturizes without being too oily. It has s a nice, light, pleasant scent. I not only have used this on my natural hair, but wigs as well. It still performs great. I really like this product. That's it, that's all!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Carol's Daughter Smooth and Shape Balm, and while it's not a total game-changer, it has its merits. The balm's consistency is smooth and application is easy, which is a plus for my tight 4c coils. It does offer some relief in taming frizz, but I've noticed the effectiveness can be hit or miss depending on the day and external factors. The scent is pleasant and subtle, which is appreciated, but it tends to fade rather quickly, leaving me wishing for longer-lasting fragrance. In terms of versatility, the balm performs adequately. It works for various styles, yet it doesn't stand out as exceptional in addressing the specific needs of 4C hair.
