Carol's Daughter Wash Day Delight - Hair Care Hair Gel to Foam Styler for Curly Hair with Aloe, 8.5 fl oz

I want to say this product has a firm yet light hold but that contradicts itself. What I mean by this is that I used it on a twist out in a day I was doing a 5k fundraising walk. I didn't sweat my twist out because of the firm hold, but my hair was still soft and bouncy like I didn't have a styled in it. I was pleased with the results and used it again when I went to my HBCU Homecoming tailgate party. It kept the hold all day but still allowed my hair to blow/flow in the wind. As my classmates said, my twist out was “popping”!

I absolutely love this product. I haven't found a mousse better than this. It holds my curls while making it more manageable. It leaves it feeling light and not weighed down. They need to make this available back in other stores because it's so hard to find. Please!!

Wash Day Delight is definitely a game-changer! My curls have never been so beautiful and defined, and I am in LOVE. My friends automatically saw the difference without me telling them I was using a new product. With that being said, I'm going to purchase several more bottles because I refuse to go without. In addition, I have not experienced any flakes whatsoever! And my hair has less frizz and it is very very soft and manageable. Thanks for adding this product to your line!

Great smell but it doesn't hold my hair in place like the Hair Milk Gel does. I have really course hair and this Gel does not hold the curls as well. Please bring back the Hair Milk Gel!

I really wanted to like this product. I went to three stores to find it because a currently popular foam was okay, but wasn't giving me definition at my roots. The appeal of the CD product was that it starts as a gel, so I would have the consistency I needed to get my roots defined and the froth of a lightweight foam for the rest of my hair. I applied the product and felt good about the slip and the foam, but once it dried, the product did not deliver at all. It left a sticky residue and there was a ton of flaking. After I broke the cast, the shine disappeared and more flakes occurred. My curls were defined, but I had to wash it out because there were flakes everywhere. This has the potential to be great because I can't find another gel-to-foam product, but this missed the mark. I can't even return it to the drugstore because it's used.
