Caron Colorama Halo Yarn-Bluestone Frost

Love this yarn! It crochets nicely, no yarn splitting. Pulls out easy when a mistake is made. So soft.

Actually obsessed with this yarn! you don’t often find acrylic this soft, and for such a fuzzy material, there’s barely any shedding. I used it to make a crochet blanket, and you can definitely get away with sizing up on the recommended hook size without it being too hole-y

Gorgeous yarn to see and to work with. I have never seen a more seamless gradient of colours. I worked one ball from the inside to outside and the second from the outside to the inside in a C2C pattern and I'm really pleased with the result. And the yarn may have a halo, but it doesn't shed at all. A winner for sure!

I've made both a blanket and a scarf with this yarn. It was very easy to work with and so soft. Simple stitches work best with this yarn. The fuzziness or (halo) of this yarn doesn't show off more fancy stitches. The fuzz on this yarn also does not shed or come off while working with it. I will and have bought this yarn a few times.

The yarn is so soft. It is rated bulky but I think its a small #4 instead. And I received a color I did not buy instead of the one I had bought. The other two colors were the ones I had ordered. The price is a bit too much high as we need at least two cakes of the same color to do anything with it. It is easy to crochet for me but tickles my nose a little bit, it makes me Atchoum...

Super soft - almost like angora. The phasing is great but it would be nice if the ball band indicated the maximum width of the project for ideal phasing - I think I went a bit too wide for this blanket so the phasing for the most light color isn't quite as 'perfect'... just something to keep in mind.

Loved quality and color and softness however it was way too expensive for only one skein. Got two for the same price on line

Yah, this is super soft, but no where does it mention that the yarn is “furry”. The yarn strands are all frayed to give it this fluffy appearance. I wanted this to make a baby blanket and the yarn sheds like crazy. Can’t be used for anything you intend to give to a child. Not impressed and I’ll be returning it.

Ordered lavender frost and they sent me gold color.
