Caron Medium Acrylic Off-White Yarn, 240 yd

It feels like silk when youre using it. My yarn of choice is Caron. lt makes a beautiful product. Its hard to find at our local Walmart but so wonderful that i can order it. i look for free shipping when i buy anything on line. Its a great yarn . All i use when i can find or order it. l would recommend to anyone.

I have used this yarn for a number of years for weaving projects and the consistency and quality is always great. I use it for placemats and table runners and it performs well. The lustre and softness is just right and the placemats hold up well when laundered.

In this case the "tweed" effect is created by interweaving little bits of ivory and black here and there throughout the base yarn which is brown but doesnt have the characteristic Caron SS shine. You'll get a tweed-like effect but its just the color name remember. Otherwise standard Caron SS yarn.

skeins are too small for the price and can be slow to work with, bcuz the hook splits the yarn, easily
