Great texture, soft and easy to knit with. The yarn is slightly shiny and rich in saturation. It’s not to fuzzy and doesn’t shred/separate as much as cotton yarn does bit without the itchyness of some synthetic yarns. Great product and reasonably priced!
I'm very fond of Caron Simply Soft yarn, %26 use it as often as I can afford it. The colors are lush, the yarn is soft %26 washable %26 easy to use. It gives a glow to the article you're making. It's easy on the fingers. My only gripe is that it can be difficult to rip out if you have to correct a mistake in a previous row.
I love this yarn! It does not split easily, the softest acrylic yarn ever, very vibrant %26 beautiful, extremely consistent with colors and thickness, very rarely has ties in the skeins (so annoying), colors go well with each other like multi %26 solid colors, a joy to work with and (as long as I do it Justice) always produces the most beautiful garments! I've never had a problem with this brand!
I really like working with this yarn because it is soft and easy to handle. Since I am mostly homebound I appreciate being able to order it from nearby.
So soft! Not for beginners. The yarn splits really easily making it a bit difficult when crocheting. Other than that it’s a really nice yarn. I’m using it to embroider over a crochet piece. I tried to make something with this yarn but I’m too new and it was taking too long bc my hook was going through the yarn instead of picking it up.
Very soft… the yarn is very stretchy. Sometimes this quality makes your work look like you’ve missed or added stitches. Also, the yarn splits easily if your hook is not inserted perfectly. I would still recommend, because it’s a good value and the yarn is especially good for baby blankets because of its softness.
Caron simply soft yarn is always soft. The color of this pink was very nice and exactly what I wanted the price of the yarn, however is going up extremely quickly and is too high for me to continue to purchase as often as I had been.
I really like this yarn. The color is vibrant and it is soft. My only complaint is that at times, it can unravel while using it to crochet a blanket.
Love this product and it's actual Company. Product is my favorite to crochet with. i don't know what's happening to Walmart! I could go in- store and purchase any color of Caron Simply Soft in ANY color! BUYER BEWARE! Ordering online for this product will NOT be coming from Walmart! The online purchase is very deceiving! i ordered 5 brilliant colors and every one of them have come from different sellers! Two had price increases while in transit!!! What started out as three for $9.99 per skein, ended up being $11 ! $12 with tax for two of the three skeins! Two were $5.99 (more like the price I usually pay) That's crazy unfair! That said, ALL of them came in very late for my liking! two of them I'm still waiting for! Next time I'll order straight from the Company and know I'll be paying the same price per skein! Again buyer beware!
The only reason I said I would not recommend is because I'm STILL waiting for my yarn! Apparently Walmart doesn't carry it in-store anymore and it's coming very from some other seller. Walmart, if you're seeing this, be more transparent upfront! I purchased 5 skeins of different colored yarn of this brand that you used to jeep in stock! Only to find out AFTER ordering that each one is coming from different sellers! not cool Walmart!
