Caron Simply Soft Brites 4 Medium Acrylic Yarn, Blue Mint 6oz/170g, 315 Yards

I love this yarn. It has drawbacks like since it's so soft the tails will come out or it can split a little bit. But this is my go-to yarn. I have a huge simply soft stash and I'm devastated anytime they discontinue any of my yarn. In fact that is the biggest drawback with this yarn is that they discontinue colors and don't have a suitable replacement. For heaven's sakes stop discontinuing the colors. They don't offer a picture archive of the discontinued shades for most of their yarn. So it makes it super hard trying to figure it out when the label has peeled away.

Great yarn! Particularly doubled with a big hook for afghans! I have made many blankets with your simply soft yarn and they have all come out great! It has a lovely sheen to it , and a very soft hand. I will continue to use this yarn in all your beautiful colors. Thank you and keep making it for a long time!

Hard to find this VERY SOFT yarn in the desired colors/quantities in craft/fabric shops, so I decided to check Walmart.com. Better price and free shipping to your nearest Walmart store. I will definitely order this again.

Be it Caron's or Red Heart's, the Simply Soft yarns are wonderful to work with and they produce wonderful results. I ordered the color "Grape" and what I got WAS called Grape, but was much more like lavender. It will not work as I'd intended, so I will go in another direction. BUT I waste nothing. These two skeins will make a beautiful scarf and hat for my purple loving granddaughter, and she WILL get her purple afghan ... only I'll use Red Heart's LOVE yarn. Their "Violet" is a very deep purple. Go figure!

Caron Simply Soft is my go-to yarn for all things baby and kid related (and a lot of adult knitting projects too.) It washes well, and is very easy to handle on the needles, unlike some other "soft" yarns which tend to slither off, and are difficult to deal with if I make a mistake. I love that I can order colors that aren't in stock at my store and pick them up with no shipping charge!

I love this yarn! It's super soft (duh) and a little shiny looking. The only problems I've had with it have been occasional knots in the yarn, but usually if you trim the frayed edges you can just work the knots into your project and can't see them. Also the ply of the yarn comes apart sometimes (the 4 strands), so weaving in the ends can be difficult (I mostly noticed this working on a small project where I had to crochet tightly). Overall, one of the best yarns for the price and the least scratchy/stiff. The plum wine is a lovely color in person, also.

Great product. My only complaint is end tends to unravel a bit. Use Caron Simply Soft for all my baby afghans.

I ordered this for a soft baby blanket But it is not a soft baby yarn, has tangles and knots in the yarn. (which I am finding in all yarns in the last year).

I truly love the softness of this yarn. However, the thickness and softness of the yarn varies widely from color to color. The yarn does have a very annoying problem with splitting. I hope the color selection will improve as many colors seem to be out of stock without replenishment dates.

This is a good product, and shipping was prompt. The problem is just that it was impossible to accurately match the color via computer, and I got the wrong color -- had to return it.
