Carpuride Carplay & Android Auto,IP67 Smart Screen for Motorcycle Stereo, Light Sensor(702) ?

This works great on my motorcycle. Clear maps in the direct sunlight. I have been wanting to get one for a little while and found it was much cheaper from Walmart than on motorcycle websites.

This product is totally on point. I have used it since March and absolutely love it. I use it in Bluetooth audio mode and it hooks to my bike and cardo like a dream. I tried it in Bluetooth transmit mode and the sound wasn't as good and I lost the track functions on my handle bars and on my cardo. This product is 100% waterproof. My bike sat out in an absolute downpour and no damage and no water behind the screen. I definately recomend this product. I just wish it had an auto brightness control but for the functionality and price I can adjust it manually.

Bought one of these with the BMW mount and had power issues so they send me a new BMW cradle which i fitted today and it all works perfectly. Im so pleased with it. It does everything i want plus i expect a whole lot more. Really did exceed expectations.

I was getting a bit fed up with my Garmin SatNav having to load tracks and routes. I use the 'My Route App' for planning all of my routes as an IAM Observer and was attracted to the Capuride as it allows me to use the same App to navigate. The added bonus is when you go to split screen, I get the route, routing instructions and am able to have Spotify up at the same time. I sold my Garmin for nearly 3 times what I paid for the Carpuride and it is a much more useful tool.

Unit works well so far. It does seem to have a slight audio bug. Sometimes the audio becomes quiet and almost "inny" You have to reset the unit. Connecting is easy enough. I have been driving through a lot of rain lately with no issues. All in all it is a fair unit. Screen is large, to the point of too large, brightness is great in the sunshine. The mount needs a bit of redesign for the bmw mount. (I can't say about others. ) It is small and protrudes a bit high away from bmw mount. I would almost like one that is flush with the bmw mount with 4 screws vs 1. I would like there to also be integrated power from bmw mount to the screen. Not that little short cable. Other than those slight audio issues it is a solid unit.

Good unit, I have the W702B, which has the bracket to fit into the BMW Sat Nav Bracket, therefore no wiring is needed, as it draws power from there. Set up is difficult, because sound is a problem. It will eventually work, however it is not that obvious. The 7 inch display mounted to the Nav Bracket does obscure the OEM TFT panel / speedo, which can be made less by moving the angle on the Nav bracket, but it can't be eliminated completely. Apart from that, the screen looks good and having CarPlay on my bike is excellent.

So I have my helmet and phone connect to the Carpuride and after some volume/sound adjustments it reconnects in just seconds. Phone conversations heard on the other end has been degraded to sound like talking through a 2 way radio. Not sure how to get the quality that was heard when my helmet was connected to the phone directly. I am though going to test it when both helmet and Carpuride using the phone as the distribution unit. We will see.
