good for young children wanting to enjoy there first slot cars

Granddaughter likes to play with it. I was looking for an old fashioned slot car race, when I purchased it. This is very close. The main difference is that the cars contact to the track is wires that need to be reshaped to touch the track. The old slot cars used two solid pieces of metal.

The track and toy cars were cool easy to set up but the metal onto the cars that make them go on the track came Frey it's sensitive and you constantly have to fix it. Not very effective
