My students need prompts to answer questions or state evidence. These are wonderful resources. It does take up a lot of space. I put them on my extra whiteboard behind my circle table for easy reference when teaching.

My students refer to this chart often! I have it displayed in the writing center of my classroom, and it helps students remember the "order of operations" if you will. It has even helped improve informational text writing skills in my students as they work through step-by-step.

Using this has been a game-changer. The colors are cheerful without being overstimulating, and the large, clear headings help students focus on key writing skills (topic sentence, details, closing sentence). Pieces are durable — heavy cardstock that held up to a month of daily use and tiny hands. I especially love the student-friendly prompts and sentence starters; they gently scaffold writers who need a nudge and still challenge more confident students. Assembly was quick and intuitive, and the set includes handy teacher labels and examples that model the high-quality work I want to see. Since putting it up, I've noticed students referring to the board during independent writing time and using the sentence frames in their work.

They are wonderful and I have replaced the older parts of speech that were in my classroom. Not only they but they allow me to do quick references with examples as I need them during class.

I've been looking for a bulletin board set for my writing area for a while and this is perfect. Each piece is large enough to be read from anywhere in the room, and it saves me a ton of work from having to create this myself.

Using this resource is great to help students be able to write an extended response to a question or proper paragraph in an essay. I love that it also includes evidence and elaboration stems! Students need that reminder until they are proficient!

This is a replacement for me. I lost the first in a flood. I love the colors and message. Students love how the definitions of each genre helps them to remember what each one is.

These posters are a great addition to our classroom. The colorfulness is brightening an otherwise drab area and the visual reminder of lessons we are completing and reviewing are a great asset for the students. It is helping them take more responsibility for their own learning.

I live the student friendly illustrations and definitions. This is the second time purchasing this set due to switching to math, then back to ELAR. The only issue is that the subgenres could be color coded to match the main genres on the poster for easier clarity of which category they stem from. For example, biography is blue-- same as nonfiction, but informational is green-- same as poetry.
