I ordered this because I suffer from a rare eye disease that causes blurryness and double vision. I can easily keep this in my pocket and use it at work whenever I need to instead of carrying around one of the large ones

when you first open it be careful the light doesn't shine right in your face. this magnifier is a little too large to carry in your pocketbook. however the magnification is nice once you figure out how to use it. the three AA batteries required to operate the light is a little bit too much. but for the price I guess it's okay.
