These clip on to regular prescription eyeglasses or on to regular sunglasses. They are a bit awkward at first to clip on, but then they snap right into place. They flip up easily, just run your thumb up your nose and flip up the thin clear plastic edge. I haven't tolerated progressive lenses very well, so I've been doing the routine of flipping my eyeglasses up onto my forehead when I need close vision. But with these, I can easily do close-up work or reading and I don't end up with ruts in my forehead! The field of vision actually seems slightly wide and very pleasing, and not pinpoint focus like some.
For under $6.00 these can't be beat. They are plastic lenses so they will scratch, but they work great over your regular progressive lenses to give that little bit of extra magnification for fine work or reading maps. Due to my high prescription they cannot "up" the bifocal in my progressives enough to allow me to read really fine print and having a pair of just reading glasses is too much of a pain. I leave these clipped to one of my old pairs of progressives for fine work, cheap fix.
I use these for cross stitching and computer. Much easier to read the computer with these glasses. I already owned 2 pair, broke one pair, bought some extras to give one pair to a friend.
These are great for my cross stitch. I have magnifying glasses but they are heavy and big. Clip these on and your ready to go. No more taking off and putting on. Just flip them up or down. I already ordered 2 more pair. Nice and light.
This is a very nice pair of magnifying glasses yet not able to see out of them right. Wrong script.
Great for small detailing.
I use this item every day a decision work. It was one of the best decisions I made to order this item. Love them.
The lens are not clear all the way to the edges. The plastic hinge to flip up is really stiff so I'm afraid of snapping them in two.
It is well designed and made. However, it"s usefulness will be determined by : strength chosen, strength of glasses it is attached to, and the customer's individual eye strength level. If you get the wrong magnification level, it will be blurred.
This is now the second time that I've ordered 1.75x and received 3.00x magnification. I kept the first ones and maybe use for very fine work. I returned the repeat order and would like to have the correct item.. At this point I have no confidence that the Walmart warehouse will have someone who can read the order and fill it correctly.
