I love this little thing. I've had it for several months now and it's been great. I'm still learning the ins and outs of making espresso, but it's been great for my level of interest and budget. I would highly recommend a grinder that grinds beans to a specific espresso grind. I bought one that also has a scale and it simplifies things a lot. The espresso machine is not fancy and doesn't have many settings, but as a starter espresso maker for a typical person who just wants great, consistent, but not professional-level, coffee, this is the right product.
This machine is super easy and makes great espresso. I have two and the company is great to work with if you have an issue. Highly recommend for your first espresso machine and beyond.
I got this for my mom as a gift because I have a similar one and it was a great decision. She loves it as it's easy to use and can make 1 or 2 shots overall definitely recommend it it's very small so it fits well if you don't have a lot of space for it. Overall it's worth it for the price and quality.
This goes down in history as one of the best purchases I've EVER MADE. I wasn't expecting such high quality results from a $100 espresso machine but honey this one DELIVERS. It's so well made and works like a charm each and every time without the slightest malfunction.
This expresso machine was under $100 dollars and is a great buy! It has all the features one looking to become a barista needs. My only comment would be the amount of noise it makes, but that is because it has a very powerful 20-bar pressure pump. I am so happy with the unit and am enjoying my cup of cappuccino every morning. Thank you!
This was delivered in a factory sealed box. It was exactly what the listing said. It was also delivered 1 day sooner. This unit is the CM5418 Basic not the one sold on Amazon and Target is the CM5418BC-UL. I knew about the Pro for $200, but didn't know about the basic model doesn't have all the features that the standard model has. I'm not mad because I spent the amount I wanted to and didn't want to spend the $150 price tag of the standard model. I am happy with this purchase! I would buy this again. Also customer service was awesome. I sent in my questions and they answered me right away! Great experience!
I got this on black Friday sale and it is definitely worth the money I spent on it ($85 including tax) because as someone who loves a good $7 latte this will save me money so quickly ....plus making yourself a fancy little latte with custom flavors (for pennies!!) is just so fun 😆
The big problem is that after you finish one cup, the machine heats up too much that you have to wait up to 10 minutes, so you can use it again, even using the steamer to help the machine cool down. That is to me a machine that does not meet expectations.
It's very loud, water reservoir leaks, and when brewing an espresso into a light weight glass cup the vibration while brewing can and WILL knock your glass off the machine if left unattended. Worst purchase I've ever made and I will be returning it. I've had better success with significantly cheaper espresso makers.
I would like for the boxes to be inspected before shipping. Both ground filters were missing. Also, when I plugged it in %26 turned it on , following the step by step instructions, it got really loud and vibratingall over the place. I put it in a paper bag %26 through it in the trash. Inorder to take to the store for a credit, was too hard for me to do. I suspect someone had one , needed the filters, took them and returned that one to get their money back . Not Cool!
