Cascade gel cleans great, no residue, clear glasses without spots. Easy to use. I will never go back to powder.
Have been using it for a long time. It does the job
Cascade has been a member of our house hold since I was a small child, maybe before that. I am 38yr old now and have 3 boys of my own. There very beautiful mother inside and out, handles the cooking. While I cant say I do the dishes to help every night, but on a blue moon I will. I rely on Cascade Powers Away w/ Dawn my go to, and her go too. Actually if anyone uses anything else, They will no longer be welcomed! Were LOYAL CASCADE!!!! WHOOOOO!!!
This a question...not a review. Does Cascade Complete (citrus gel) have an expiration date? It is not on the bottle. I have an old bottle that I found in storage. The following number is on the label: #91012099
I have been using Cascade Complete Fresh Scent because I can't find the Cascade original in my area. This stuff hasn't been getting the insides of the coffee cups clean. The scent is overwhelming! It's terrible! Any plastics that are in the dishwasher reek of the detergent smell. I switched from the liquid to the action packs thinking maybe they wouldn't smell so strongly, even though it's significantly more expensive. The smell is just as strong. I will find something else to switch to and might just toss your products.
I have always used cascade. Eighteen months ago I purchased a new GE dishwasher with an automatic dispenser. They recommend using only cascade gel. For the first time ever my tea cups do not get clean and there are white rings around the tops of my glasses. This is so disappointing. I have had the repair man it my house twice and he says there is nothing wrong with the machine. We don't have particularly hard water in our area. Please bring back the old cascade!
I Have a Bosch dishwasher that is 9 yrs old & have always used the gel pacs, decided to swith to the liquid since other family members have used, I always wondered why my sisters glasses had a ring at the top, well this is why , I have used the product she has for a couple months and my dishes are always dirty with this same firm ring on my glasses. I though I was saving money well I was wrong this is the worst product ever, my mother said u r using to much so i used less still nothing, then I went to go have tea this am and saw a tea stain in my cup that was cleaned, using this product , I thought this is enough I have to write a review & complain. sorry this product is not for me & would like a refund.
I gave this product one star because it wasn't possible to give it no stars. Since they've made Cascade phosphate-free, it's now also clean-free: it doesn't work. Spots, gunk are left all over my dishes. Yes, I have a new dishwasher. Yes, I use a rinse aid. Yes, I clean my dishwasher once a month. The plain & simple fact is that using Cascade when it contained phosphates was 100% perfect. The phosphate-free junk is simply that: junk.
I have used Cascade tabs for a long time and have been happy with the performance, but recently it's horrible. My dishes have a film all over them and I cant get it off. I don't like the response your company has provided to other consumers with the same issue: wash without detergent but with vinegar and then wash again with detergent. That's ridiculous! It's absolutely wasteful to run the dishasher twice for every load! Surely you have a better fix than that!!!!!! Give us back phosphates or whatever ingredient will fix the problem. If legislation is in your way, hire a lobbyist! Just fix the problem. Plus, i looked up this no phosphate law, and it's not required in my state of NJ so, why can't you keep shipping the old product now?????? Please respond, as I was a loyal consumer and would be again if you gave me a prodcut that works.
The detergent smells good when you are washing a load of dishes, but that smell is left on your dishes. Beyond the smell there is a taste of the detergent left on the dishes, so when you drink out of your glasses you get a mouthful of bleck. I would not recomend this product, specifically the orange scented liquid. I have always used cascade, this is the first time i have ever been disappointed by your product. I will be throwing out the whole bottle minus 2 loads worth of dishes. DISGUSTING!
