Cascade Complete Powder Dishwasher Detergent, Fresh Scent, 125 Oz

Will only use this dish detergent. It comes in a completely recyclable box, no plastic container to go into a landfill. The detergent itself does a really good job of cleaning my greasy, stuck on food dishes. I also like that it comes in a large size so I don't have to buy more of them. We are a large family and run the machine twice a day. So this is the perfect size for us.

Why pay all that extra for dishwasher pods? This powder cleans extremely well. However, it was badly packed: The Cascade box was upside down in a shipping box that had arrows showing which way up it should be. The Cascade box was damaged around the pouring spout (which is not sealed shut by the manufacturer) and leaked about a cup of powder. Fortunately, the shippers had enclosed the Cascade box (upside down) in a large zipper-lock bag, so nothing else in the shipment was harmed.

Of all the detergents I've tried from Cascade and others, this is certainly the best one I've ever used by far. Smells wonderful, there are no suds in the dishwasher, cleans great, no scent left behind after the cycles, they're cheap, and they don't expire. I'm not too crazy about the box they'd come with since some powder would leak out of there but for environmental reasons, this is exceptional.

Cuts through tough grease and has a fresh scent .Leaving dishes sparkling clean . I have noticed it removes stubborn stains. You get a lot of clean for the buck . The consistency is nice and thick that doesn't leave a residue and it's very concentrated.

Just switched to this product and am taken aback at home much residue is left behind. This residue does not come off with a simple rinse, it needs to be scrubbed with a green scrubbing pad or steel wool! When we switched back to our old brand the dishes looked fine. Bought this product 2 weeks ago and I hate it! The store was out of the liquid stuff and bought it because I needed it. Came home did a load of dishes and they came out with a white film. I had to re wash the dishes by hand and the scum/ white film was still on my dishes. Horrible product. I cleaned the dishwasher and tried again but same thing happened. Horrible horrible soap.

I found that this double the price when comparing it to Target.

My wife just bought this stuff and our plates went from looking crystal clear to basically covered in chalk. Do not buy this scam product. So much residue left on the dishes.

Product is fine. Packaging by Wal-Mart is not acceptable. This item was in a plastic bag inside a box that was three times the size needed. Of course one of the boxes leaked. I don't know if it was already leaking when put in the plastic bag, but I suspect it was. Otherwise no bag would have been needed. Even if it had been whole when put in the box, there was greatly insufficient packing paper to cushion it so it bounced around inside the box during transport. Wal-Mart warehouse failed miserably.
