Cascade Mountain Tech 3K Carbon Fiber Quick Lock Cork Grip Trekking Poles - Hiking Stick

These 3K carbon poles are really sweet, lightweight, comfortable and very stable. They look really sharp and have many options, they are just an affordable option to the high dollar Trekking Poles. I only like the straight up and down trails or I get board-ha ha. I like the cork handles myself really well and those EVA grip extensions for going up hills a lot I do not have to adjust the pole all the time.... If I had to just have just one pair I would try and get these Cascade Mountain Tech 3K Carbon Fiber. On the inside of the strap there is a little felt lining on the straps, for the straps length to be able to be adjusted the lining or padding cannot cover the entire inside as it would become too thick to slide in and out of the handle when tightening and losing the strap. It does cover enough to protect your hand and wrist for myself though. They also have some reflective material on the wrist strap and a piece of reflective tape on the pole just below the extended hand grip. Some trails these poles have been on in the Smoky Mountain National Park are Charlies Bunion, Gregory Bald, (Mount LeConte trail Via Trillium Gap and Boulevard), Abrams Falls Trail. I am 67, 6` 240 lb and carrying a smaller Kelty Redtail 1800 pack now, food water first aid kit and sometimes the grandkids binoculars. Get the quick lock levers. Try to stay away from any twist lock levers poles.

Got to feel a pair of black diamond carbon sticks. The cascades were just as light and have served me with no faults so far. Glad i bought these.

I purchased these to replace a set of el el frijole poles. These have several attachments that fit firmly and do not fall off while you are hiking. They are light-weight and have a cork grip. The wrist straps have a smooth material that doesn't irritate your wrist. It took a little while to tighten the clamps, but once that was done they were easy to set up and use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im really impressed with the Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon Fiber Quick Lock Trekking Poles. They're incredibly lightweight but sturdy and reliable, and the quick lock system makes adjusting the height fast and secure. The cork grips are very comfortable in hands, even on longer walks. The overall build quality feels much more premium than I expected for what they are priced at. I was especially hoping to test them out in the snow, but here in Northern Colorado we haven't had much snowfall this season. Even without snow use, they've been great for everyday walks and uneven terrain. This summer I am looking forward to putting them to the test on hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, where I know they'll really shine on elevation changes and longer trails. Overall, these Trekking poles are an excellent value-durable, comfortable and easy to use. I am excited to keep using them year round.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be more thrilled with these! I live in Utah, so having the attachments for rocks, trails, snow, and mud means I can take these anywhere at any time of the year! The grips are super comfortable and the straps keep me from dropping them. They adjust smoothly and stay clipped in place. Cannot recommend highly enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really impressed with the Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon Fiber Trekking Pole. The carbon fiber construction makes it extremely lightweight, which helps reduce fatigue on longer hikes. The design feels sturdy and well balanced, and the grip is comfortable even after extended use. Adjusting the pole height is quick and secure, and the tip options make it easy to switch between different terrain types. Overall, it's a reliable pole that holds up well and requires very little maintenance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These came in handy they have everything you need for a hike or to use when skiing. They are super easy to use and don't take much room when storing. They are pretty heavy duty and are not flimsy at all you're not going to feel like they are going to break on you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an area with lots of walking trails and hills, so I was excited to try the Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon Fiber Trekking Pole. The first thing I noticed was how easy the poles are to set up right out of the box. They unlock easily and you adjust and lock them into the preferred height. I was able to adjust them to both the comfort of my boyfriend and myself. They come with a variety of tips for many different weather scenarios, but I only tried the main ones that grip the earth when walking. The handles are very cushiony and ergonomic, my hands felt comfortable during the duration of the walk. These were a game changer for me! I felt more stable on my feet ascending and descending uneven terrain. They are very lightweight as well, so they are not a hindrance on longer walks. I would recommend to anyone who likes to hike or take walks.

The flip locks could be better, but if you spend the time to tighten them correctly they're great poles. Mine have about 500 miles on them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These trekking poles were easy to assemble and improved my stability on a 7 mile hike in snow. These poles are still on the heavier side, especially for poles described as carbon fiber, but I appreciate how small they pack down and how study they remain. I'm a big fan of the handles and straps in terms of grab comfort and softness. I don't expect they'll result in chafing on longer and warmer days. Looking forward to using these more this coming summer.
