Cascade Pacs Dishwasher Detergents, Fresh Scent, 11.7 Ounce, 21 Count

I have been struggling with my old dishwasher not getting things clean, even with pre scrubbing in the sink. I kept using dishwasher cleaners hoping to make a difference. I saw the commercial and decided to try them, the platinum plus left my dishes cleaner than right after I clean the dishwasher! A bit expensive for the budget but I think worth it

I love cascade and this version really gets my dishes sparkling clean! No streaks and no left on scum. Very easy to use with the pods and would just recommend keeping them out of reach for pets and kids.

I am not happy with Cascade Platinum. I used the packets three times. I'm a three strikes you're out person. All three times the packets did not dissolve. No this is not a problem with the heat or my dishwasher because I have used Finish and had no problem. Also, my dishes do not come out clean. I have to pre-wash everything before running the dishwasher. Again, the Finish did not do this. I bought both Cascade and Finish to do my own test and Cascade failed miserably. I am glad I only bought the small 14 packet bag. This product was quite disappointing.

The scents of this product (and other gel newer gel packs) is overwhelming--it lingers on dishes, but ESPECIALLY on plastic containers--so much so that any food stored in them ends up taxing like the detergent scent. It's terrible. I have ruined quite a few batches of leftovers--like oatmeal and potatoes etc-- by storing it in plastic Tupperware that smells like this detergent. Why in the world is the scent so strong? Do we have to over-scent everything these days??? I won't be buying these again (and they were not cheap).

Announcement: I have clean dishes!!! I don't just mean that I got tired of digging a plate and fork out of the pile and hand-washing them every time I wanted to eat (haha, what?!) - I mean that for the first time since I moved into this apartment, where they conveniently forgot to list "Worst dishwashers EVER!!!!" with the amenities, I washed a load of dishes in the dishwasher and did NOT have to re-wash 90% of them. They ALL came out clean. The glass was sparkling and spotless. The bowls and plates had no remaining caked-on bits of mystery food. The table knives has no peanut butter residue. My copper pots have shiny bottoms again. Even the plastic storage containers have virtually no water spots!!! I have new Cascade Platinum Pacs to thank for this wonderful moment. I've tried many other brands/types of detergents; powders, liquids, and other types of packs, and nothing else has worked. Thank you, Cascade, and your little packets of awesomeness.

I have used Cascade products for years with great success and was anxious to try the new Platinum. Now I have a mess! My glassware, silver ware, and stainless interior of the dishwasher all have a heavy white film, HARD to GET OFF!!!! Very expensive mistake on my part. My dishwasher is only 2 yeaars old. I have never had this happen with any other Cascade Product.

I have used the Cascade gel packs for years with very good results. I decided to try the new Cascade Platinum and suddenly my Bosch dishwasher would not drain completely. I took out all the drains and I found the bottom drain coated with a white, paste-like, gunky substance, which I had to literally scrape off with a brush. I have returned to the classic Cascade...no more drain problems, the usual very good results. i will definitely stop using the Cascade Platinum and will discard the ones I have left.

What a disappointment. The stellar marketing that claims it's better than Finish and doesn't leave spots, inticed me to buy this. Just trying to unload my dishwasher, I have to rewash EVERY SINGLE glass. They all contain tons of residue. Very unhappy. Not only will I be returning the tub of these I bought, but also will be going back to Finish products. They might not be perfect either, but far surpasses the quality and price of this awful product. Don't waste your time, you'll end up with a dishwasher full of dishes that need to be rewashed.

I do love this product. I have such hard water that i couldn't keep my glasses clear. There was always a film on them. After one or two washes they sparkle. I was honestly thinking I would have to buy new glasses but not now....they look fabulous! for those that are having a slimy residue - try running the hot water in your sink before running your dishwasher...your water might not be getting hot enough. (just a thought)

I was convinced I needed a new dishwasher and dreaded opening the door after each cycle because I knew I'd need to rewash half of the dishes. With these my dishes and my dishwasher are cleaner than I've seen them in years- without the rewash! Thank you!
