Cascade Pacs Dishwasher Detergents, Fresh Scent, 11.7 Ounce, 21 Count

I was convinced I needed a new dishwasher and dreaded opening the door after each cycle because I knew I'd need to rewash half of the dishes. With these my dishes and my dishwasher are cleaner than I've seen them in years- without the rewash! Thank you!

I had drinking glasses that had what I called a frosted bottom from all the other d/w products I used. Other d/w products didn't remove them. I would tell people that there clean just cloudy from the other d/w products I used. One washing.. @@ the bottom of the glasses were clear.. I can see through the bottom@@.. all I could say was WOW.. If it wasn't for you commercials on how it cleans I would be stuck with the dirty looking glasses.. No more cheap brands, store brands, only Cascade platinum.. thank you...

I do love this product. I have such hard water that i couldn't keep my glasses clear. There was always a film on them. After one or two washes they sparkle. I was honestly thinking I would have to buy new glasses but not now....they look fabulous! for those that are having a slimy residue - try running the hot water in your sink before running your dishwasher...your water might not be getting hot enough. (just a thought)

The scents of this product (and other gel newer gel packs) is overwhelming--it lingers on dishes, but ESPECIALLY on plastic containers--so much so that any food stored in them ends up taxing like the detergent scent. It's terrible. I have ruined quite a few batches of leftovers--like oatmeal and potatoes etc-- by storing it in plastic Tupperware that smells like this detergent. Why in the world is the scent so strong? Do we have to over-scent everything these days??? I won't be buying these again (and they were not cheap).

I have hard water and have had dishwasher issues for years. Along with the detergent I have used a liquid rinse agent and the hanging basket rinse aid. I also used a booster called dish magic. That was the only way my dishes would get clean. Now, with just one platinum pac, my dishes are clean. I don't do a lot of pre rinsing either. I did not have the same results with the cascade complete pac. I am very happy I decided to try this product.

This is a great product and cleans really great, however you need to trim the squared corners from the packets. My dishwashers soap door won't open because the corners of the packet keep the lid closed too tight. If we trim the corners off , it works fine. We have a GE power saver. The packet fits great in the soap compartment , but the corners hang over the edge.

I have been buying Cascade Gel Pacs for years and I love the product. This past week I saw the Cascade Platinum Gel Pacs and decided to give them a try. I loved the way the product cleans my glasses, dishes, silverware and pans, but it did a number on my Tupperware and plastic ware. A white film has all but ruined the storage containers. The lids and the inside of my plastic is covered in a hard white film that I cannot even scrub off. I tried soaking in hot water but no avail. After I finish the tub of the Gel Pacs never again. I do twice the work now. Washing my plastic ware separate from my dishes, glasses etc....

I have always purchased the Cascade Action Pacs and never had an issue with them, but these Platinum pacs do not dissolve, I have even run the dishwasher twice and still did not dissolve. Going back to the Action pacs as soon as these are used up,can't afford to waste them. DISAPPOINTED

I have used the Cascade gel packs for years with very good results. I decided to try the new Cascade Platinum and suddenly my Bosch dishwasher would not drain completely. I took out all the drains and I found the bottom drain coated with a white, paste-like, gunky substance, which I had to literally scrape off with a brush. I have returned to the classic Cascade...no more drain problems, the usual very good results. i will definitely stop using the Cascade Platinum and will discard the ones I have left.

What a disappointment. The stellar marketing that claims it's better than Finish and doesn't leave spots, inticed me to buy this. Just trying to unload my dishwasher, I have to rewash EVERY SINGLE glass. They all contain tons of residue. Very unhappy. Not only will I be returning the tub of these I bought, but also will be going back to Finish products. They might not be perfect either, but far surpasses the quality and price of this awful product. Don't waste your time, you'll end up with a dishwasher full of dishes that need to be rewashed.
