Cashel Pattern Crusader Horse Fly Mask Standard

I just received my fly mask in the mail and I bought the draft size for my Belgian mare, and I have never had a fly mask fit so good! I am so excited to finally give her some relief.

The Crusader fly mask is the best one on the market! Absolutely no rubbing and is extremely soft. SmartPak offers it for the best price. I encourage the custom embroidery. No more Sharpie :) I have two, wash one and always have another one ready. It is the only mask I will purchase from now on and definitely from SmartPak!

My horse has uveitis and wears a fly mask nearly 24/7. He has never had an issue with rubs with this brand of fly mask. He also is an escape artist but has only managed to take this one off in turnout a couple of times (compared to every single day, with other brands/styles). A good buy and at a reasonable price.

My mare likely has tried more fly masks than any other horse. She has Uveitis in one eye and is extremely sensitive to the sun. She goes outside from dusk until dawn wearing her cashel mask with ears. The mask is durable and unlike many other masks, the ears are actually long enough for my mare's average length ears. I love that I can get it in pink also. Of all the brands I've tried, the Cashel mask is my favorite for fit and durability. I love that I can have my mare's name embroidered on it as well!

I bought 2 of these Fly Masks. 1 for a good size quarter horse and the other for a smaller cobb size horse. They fit great and the horses didn't mind them at all. They were easy to put on and adjust and easy to take off. Neither of the horses have ever worn a mask before.

I had an old Cashel flymask for my TBX mare. It had been my choice since I purchased it 4 years ago. I recently purchased an OTTB, placed my extra SuperMask on her and it rubbed her cheeks to no end. I ordered a new Cashel for her, and it even came with free embroidery! Which is nice since these only come in 2 colors and the 4 horses at the barn all wear Cashels. I was so impressed with the embroidery, but was even more impressed with the quality of the new style. It now comes with a double Velcro closure! The ears are also a lighter material. I just placed an order to purchase a new one for my other mare. I would say it is a little larger than normal. Should have purchased the small horse size, just has extra Velcro hanging off, but isn't falling off! LOVE IT!

I purchased 3 fly masks for my horses. The horse size ran a little bit large for my QH. I ordered the Warmblood size for my Dutch Warmblood and it was WAY too large. The Yearling/Large pony is a bit roomy for my RPSI yearling, but she has room to grow and it is adjustable enough to keep it on her. They have all rubbed or had another horse pull their mask off at some point and the masks have proven to be very durable with no rips or tears. It's hot in Texas and they haven't had any issues with sweat lines with these masks. I would definitely recommend!

I bought several of these fly masks. They fit just fine. I had them embroidered with their names. I decided to "Let Smart Pak Choose" the color on two of the fly masks. I got black which is like Charlie Brown at Halloween saying "I got a rock". FYI. Be a big boy or girl and choose the color for yourself. The embroidery was lovely in and of itself but the color of the embroidery was disappointing to me. I felt deflated.

loI had a crusader fly mask a few years ago and used this for multiple fly seasons. The only reason I bought a new one is because we sold a horse and the fly mask went with him because he had a white nose and this particular mask had the extended nose. I liked it so much that I bought another. I like it because weeds and stickers don't adhere to it as bad as other masks. It also leaves ample room for the horses eyes so their eyes aren't crowded/poked.

I needed to replace my draft cross mare's fly mask this season. She usually goes in an oversized bridle/halter/fly mask. This ran a little big on her, which is nice, better than the other way around. I was able to tighten down on the velcro and make it fit nicely. I do wish the forelock hole was a little bigger, my girl has a lot of hair!
