I was looking for a small saddlebag for the pommel. I had previously purchased 4 different bags, all of which became unusable after a year because the zippers corroded. This bag has no zippers and is extremely well made. My saddle has no horn, and this has straps to fasten it on. I anticipate many years of use.
I bought this for a wilderness trip, covering 90 miles of riding over an 8 day period. I carried a heavy canteen, gloves, first aid kit, rain hat, cap, and more in the horn bag. . We rode over very tough terrain, going up and down steep hills for up to 22 miles per day. The bag held up great, and kept my items easy to reach. Good product!
This little bag holds everything you need for a day ride- small first aid kit, map, water bottle, camera, sunscreen, snack, etc. It is very secure with the velcro pommel straps and it buckles to your saddle as well, which limits the bouncing. Flaps are very secure, and the mesh pockets are handy for a GPS or water bottle. Great investment for trail riders.
This is BIG little saddle bag for trail riding; lots of pockets to carry a sandwich, snacks, drinks, a cell phone, and "horsey stuff" or what have you. Very sturdy construction, this will last a long time for many trail rides. Certainly better than many I've seen at local feed stores, etc., and certainly worth the money!
I was worried these wouldn't fit on my wade saddle, but they do! They have Velcro straps to go on either side of the horn as well as straps that attach to the d rings on the front of the saddle. We went on a 5 hour ride and these didn't move around at all. I could easily fit snacks, a couple bottles of water, and a few other things in them with space for more. I would definitely recommend these!
Bought this as a gift for my sister in law/friend. Excellent size and features! Love that everything is right in front of you, rather than having to reach behind or get off my horse to grab something!!
Lots of storage for lunch and water as well as some essential items for the horses. Plenty of room for it all and it's not super bulky so it won't get in the way when riding. I love that it has multiple ways to secure it to your saddle so it doesn't flop around.
This Cashel horn bag works perfect for snack or drink storage and has super easy access instead of reaching behind you
This, so far, has been a great purchase. Last week I even stuffed a raincoat in one of the bags. The other bag had my water bottle and sandwich and snack for my horse! These are awesome because they hold so much without taking up too much space!
Love this bag with all the room and how it fits snugly to the saddle horn. I don't like the straps that tie to your saddle. the center hook that goes into the hole moves around. This needs to be stationary. It moves all over the place when you are trying to latch it into one of the VERY small holes. The rest of the bag seems to be well made just not the straps!
