I have had so much fun with this and so have my children. There's so many options to choose from, so many different pianos and instruments to choose from. You even have options for keeping a rhythm and so forth. Can be ran off battery or plugged in using the included cord. Has a stand for your sheet music as well. Such a great way to learn how to play piano or great if you're intermediate and can better understand how to use the controls. Plus you can also plug it up to external devices for better help! Overall I enjoy this
I don't play the keyboard very well but this one makes my skills sound enhanced! It plays very well. It's portable so it requires six AA batteries. You can also just plug it up, it comes with the cord. It has 400 tones and 77 rhythms. The keyboard lights up red while touching the keys. It's equipped with a Micro-B USB port for connecting to other devices. It has a screen to let you see what you have selected to play. It has volume control and touch response. It also comes with a nice booklet or sheet holder. It has a nice handle built in for carrying. It's equipped for a pedal insert as well and so much more. This will be the perfect gift for you or someone else. Don't hesitate on this one.
My kids are in love with this. They are excited for music class now. We homeschool so this was a good little addition to the house. What's amazing about it is that we hook headphones to it and mama doesn't have to hear it. What more could ya want? Ha. It suggested an app to use with it. We ended up purchasing so the kids could learn. I wish it was free but it seems worth it. Maybe a discount code sent with it would be an amazing addition. Need to purchase a stand separately.
Plenty of keyboards utilize things such as lights, tempo direction, and note indication to help teach you how to play songs, but the Casio Casiotone just does it all a little bit better. First off, the lighting system on this is so nice. Compared to many others that use lights along the top of the keyboard, this one utilizes lights embedded within the keys, making it much easier to follow along without having to stare directly at it. They are nice and bright and use different sequences of flashing to indicate if a key requires multiple taps or a sustain. The song choices for training are all of the traditional songs that you would think of, such as the Fur Elise, Canon, Green Sleeves, holiday songs like Jingle Bells and White Christmas, and a selection of random songs. You can download additional songs via USB, as well as utilize this keyboard's midi controls. There are 400 included sounds, which if you've ever used a Casio keyboard before you'll be very familiar with them. The rhythm and song pack is quite fun, including 4 different sequences for each so you can mix and match them on the fly. I joked with my son that you could DJ a kid's birthday party with this no problem. Battery life is great as well. In the 5 weeks that I've had it the AA batteries it runs off of are still showing fully charged. It does come with a wall adapter, which works just fine. It's also constructed nicely and doesn't give off it's rather budget pricing. There are just a couple of things that could be improved. The speakers are just "okay". Certainly okay enough for practicing and messing around, but any serious playing would have to be ran to an outside PA or speakers. That leads to my next issue, and that's the audio output. I am a little confused as to why they used a full-size phono for the mic input (it also features a pedal input) but went with a 3.5mm for the audio out. I would have much preferred a full size and then just used an adapter if I needed a 3.5mm connection. Those are just minor gripes though, overall this is a great keyboard for the aspiring learner as well as someone wanting a fun side keyboard to mess about with some synth on.
My eight year old son loves to pick out songs and try to play piano by ear. This Casio Casiotone keyboard is perfect for him because we dont have room for a piano and is able to practice and play and learn on his own keyboard. Its got 61 keys, and is lightweight with a buit in carry handle and he can use it anywhere inthe battery mode. It also has a power supply so he can use it on the stand in his bedroom. My favorite thing about it is that he can program it with lighted keys to learn songs and he can use it with headphones so there is no noise. There are 60 songs included and a voice guided lesson system. The keys are true to size and the sound quality is great. There are built in speakers, 400 tones and 77 rhythms and 10 types of reverbs. Its easy and fun for him to play!
This piano is great for beginners especially because it boots confidence and give you the feeling of being being able to play right out of the box. The keys light up for easy to follow lessons. Theere are so many featured songs /styles into explore. My one gripe is that there is a turn dial to scroll through to find each of these songs/ modes. We have another Casio keyboard that has all of the styles on individual buttons so it's easy to pick what you want at te touch of a button . Personal preference here definitely depends on how you like to access the features. My son didn't mind scrolling. There is a mode for lessons that are very easy to customize depending on the level you want - easy , advanced, right had left hand or both etc. Additionally there are input connections at the back so you can connection your computer via USB and every parent's dream ---- Headset connection port hahah. Any beginner, child or adult will lenjoy this keyboard. It's also portable as it works with batteries as well as can be charged.
We are not keyboard players by any means. Hopefully this easy to learn keyboard spark some interest in playing music for our family. Seems to be a good product. Has lots of tones and backing tracks which we love. We also like how the keys light to help learn to play. Basically it's a lot of fun, even for me. I would recommend for someone interested in starting to learn.
The only thing I would change about this keyboard by Casio, is the lack of a carrying case or bag. The keyboard has a built-in handle for easy carrying, and is easy to use. Adjusting the volume is easy, and the lights help with learning new pieces. The keyboard is a decent size, but small enough to fit in small spaces. It's fun to use too. I definitely recommend this keyboard
As soon as the Casio Casiotone 61-Key Portable Keyboard (LK-S250) arrived my kids eyes lit up my eight year old son loves to play instruments it helps him alot. The keyboard is a great quality and has 300 different key sounds so it is alot of fun to find new sounds and make up new songs. It comes with a stand for your music. Great quality, great sound and tons of fun for everyone I highly recommend. The keys are very smooth and play easily as well.
Bad delivery, man, old man, grumpy, rude, pro friend by the name of William, the delivery man, for my most previous immediately previous order. I'm usually full of compliments, well deserved. But this guy was terrible. I reported him not only to the police and management, but also to the local store, the source of delivery and use people presumably through this medium of software online, but I never got a response. That was over a week ago. Thank you. Professor Bohn.
