Awesome watch!!!
It’s supposed to be dark because it’s “tacticool!” Love this watch!!! Everyone thinks it’s a G Shock. I had a G Shock. I prefer this watch! I need the vibration alarms because I am hard of hearing and I have tinnitus (ringing in my ears 24/7). The cheapest G Shock with vibration is $130. A lot of Garmin watches and smart watches are dark unless you push a button, etc.

US Army approved / Tactical watch
There are only 2 things I dislike about the watch. If it is truly a Black-Out watch, why aren't the 4 screws blacked out as well? I unscrewed them and painted them myself. Now the watch would receive 5 stars. The 2nd thing, this is the 3rd exact watch I've had to buy. After a while of putting it on and taking it off, the bands get weak and start to tear. But overall, great watch.
