Smaller & slimmer than expected. Apparently, using the light nightly will knock a few years off the 10-yr battery life, but anything over my prior & pitiful 1-yr watches is great.
I had one of these before but lost it. I liked it so much I ordered the exact same watch. It's nice to keep phone numbers in it's data base in case my battery dies on my phone and I'm unable to retrieve numbers from it.
I have been using Casio watches for decades and am familiar with the functions and settings. I really like the multiple alarms and the water resistant features of this watch. I had one for many years and was glad to be able to replace it with a new one. The price is right. I look forward to many years of service from this watch.
I am a youth soccer coach, and this watch is very good. It has a stop watch, from zero up; and a countdown timer. Both come in handy at games and practices. It has five alarms. It's light and fits my wrist. Very good watch at $15.00 or so. I've had this brand of watch for at least ten years, maybe more.
After owning one of these for many years, mine finally needed to be replaced. I rely very much on the count down timer, and I like square watches - not round. I also have small wrists. So my choice of replacements was somewhat limited. I finally chose to purchase the same watch. After years of using this watch daily, I can say that it is reliable, although, as Casio states, it will not keep perfect time. I have to adjust the time a few times each year. Other than that, it is simply fine. I don't use the data bank, but I use the timer, alarms, and dual time function. The first screen provides the day of the week, day of the month, the month, year, and obviously, the time. It has been splashed on numerous times with no negative results. I don't swim with it on. The light does not stay on long when the button is pushed, so I sometimes have to push it twice - no big deal. It has been knocked around and dropped over the years, and it just keeps doing its job. The battery lasts a long time. It is stated to be a 10-year battery. Finally, the price was excellent from Walmart. This is a reliable, durable, inexpensive watch that provides a lot of functions. It is a good value for a useful watch. Overall, I feel it is a reliable watch that fits my wrist
I use this watch for everything from counting down the minutes until I eat after taking my insulin to cooking dinner. And of course keeping up with the time...
I've owned Casio Databank watches for 20 years! 2 features stopped working on my last one after 3yrs (different model#, but looks exactly the same!). Never dropped, or rough use? The price is now 60% of what I paid the last time, and I hope the quality is better (I just ordered a new one elsewhere)? Why I keep coming back to Casio Databank!- This has the databank feature where I can store up to 30 phone#s, bank acct#s, ...!- 7 letter max name (sorted)/then 9 numbers (i.e. Dick B., Dr Jon, FIB CHK, FIB SAV, ...) Not exactly designed for easy # reading (odd mix of Large/small #s?), but has saved my bacon "several" times! Little black book that is "always" with me!
I bought this watch for my 8 years old son's birthday, It only took him little time to figure out how it works. He loves this watch, he now can set up up to 5 alarms for his daily used. He is very happy about it and ware it all the time, and doesn't have to worry if it gets wet.
For a functional all around watch this one has been the best with an accurate watch, with stopwatch, countdown timer and 5 alarm clock features all that I use. Easy to get on/off, easy to figure out. Two down sides 1. Battery life is short much less then advertised more like 1 year not 10 years, 2. The light is weak and does not stay on long enough.
This is the third Casio Databank 30 Watch I have purchased in the last five years. They have a ten year battery life but due to my rough service the watch fails in about two years. I like the low purchase price and after a couple years of everyday use it is scratched and ready to be replaced. I also like the countdown timer, the five alarm settings and the 12 hour or 24 hour display that I find very useful. Other watches with these functions cost more.
