Casio Men's G-Shock Mudman Watch G9000-1V

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son. I had previously purchased a Casio dive watch for him to use at summer camp. I noticed he always takes it off for when it's time to do something that might damage it. He loves this one too. I told him it's specifically made to be beat up.

Couldn't find this exact model at other sellers without paying $40 to $60 more. Casio G Shock watches are beasts that weather consistent rough treatment as a result of everyday working life. I haven't had a band fail yet and the time keeping accuracy is good. When I went to get a battery replaced in my G Shock at a high end watch shop, the guy working the counter even said G Shocks are good watches.

Finally decided to quit wearing my Tag's while working on cars or doing DIY stuff around the house. I was looking for something tough enough to handle auto fluids, mud,dirt and other things that it would be exposed to. I also didn't need temp, altitude, compass or any extras. So far I've done sheet rocking, texture, paint, mortar, tile, grout, oil change, carb rebuild and other odd jobs with no ill effects. Buttons are double sealed. Take shower with it on and it cleans right up. I have small wrists but big hands so it's not too large looking. If you have small wrists and hands it may be a little clunky but you'll probably get used to it.
